The Best Large Venues in London (2026)

Blog Heading Image (10)

Introduction

If you’re already starting to think about Christmas parties or summer celebrations for 2026, you’re not alone! Big events take time to plan, and large venues in London can get snapped up quickly once the year gets going. Whether you’re organising a company party, an awards night, or a big social with clients and colleagues, booking early gives you the best chance of finding somewhere that really fits the vibe and comfortably fits everyone invited.

Miss Jones Group can also make the whole process much easier with our free venue-finding concierge service. Just share your budget, group size, preferred area and the kind of space you’re after, and we’ll pull together the best options. It costs nothing to use, and you’ll even earn rewards every time you book!

How to Book the Best Large Capacity Venue

A large event venue in London, set up for an awards night and decorated with bright neon lighting

Start Early (Big Spaces Go Fast!)

Large venues in London tend to get booked up well in advance, especially for popular dates around the festive season and summer. Getting in early means you’ll have more choice, better rates, and less stress later on.

An event set up at One Marylebone, decorated with large flowers and soft pink lighting

Know Your Numbers & Non-Negotiables

Having a clear idea of guest count, preferred areas, timings, and must-haves (e.g. outdoor space, late licence, catering style) will make the search much smoother. It also ensures you’re only looking at venues that can actually handle the scale of your event.

Ask About Layout & Flow

Capacity isn’t just about headcount, how the space actually works also really matters. Ask how the venue handles bars, food stations, dance floors, presentations and mingling. Good flow makes a huge difference to atmosphere and comfort at large events.

Discover our favourite large capacity venues in London, great for everything from sunny summer socials to Christmas parties.

With the right setting, away days can boost employee engagement, improve communication, and leave everyone feeling more motivated and aligned.

If you have an exact brief in mind, we can help you find the perfect venue for your corporate away days based on budget, location preferences, group size and more. Why Plan a Corporate Away Day?

A corporate team on an away day at Balfour Winery, enjoying the sun and some team building

Build Stronger Team Connections

Corporate away days are a great opportunity for colleagues to bond outside their usual work setting. Stepping away from desks and daily pressures helps break down communication barriers, build trust, and create shared experiences that translate into better collaboration back in the office.

A creative strategy session at an away day, where a team is gathered around a vision board, collecting ideas

Inspire Fresh Thinking & Innovation

A change of scenery is great for creativity. Whether it’s a structured strategy session or an informal brainstorming day, being in a new environment encourages fresh perspectives, problem-solving and new ideas, all of which can help shape future projects and business growth.

A strategy session in a meeting room, where one person is writing the teams' ideas on a white board

Boost Motivation & Employee Engagement

Showing teams that their development and wellbeing matter goes a long way. Corporate away days make people feel valued, supported, and part of a bigger mission. The result? Higher morale, renewed motivation, and stronger engagement across the business long after the away day ends.

Our Top New Openings This December

We’ve rounded up the newest places worth having on your radar right now, the ones everyone will be talking about before spring even arrives!

Daka Daka

Mayfair

A bold new chapter for Heddon Street, Daka Daka is bringing the flavours of Georgia to the heart of Mayfair.

Taking over the former residency space at 10 Heddon Street, Daka Daka is the debut London project from Berkeley Square Hospitality, led by Giorgi Mindiashvili and Mitz Vora. The focus is on a modern interpretation of Georgian cuisine, with open-fire cooking and menus built around native Georgian ingredients alongside seasonal British produce.

The two-floor space has been redesigned by Katya Samsonadze, blending folkloric textures with contemporary design and adding a new private dining room upstairs. A standout wine list featuring around 100 Georgian natural wines, plus cocktails built around chacha, completes what promises to be one of January’s most exciting openings.

Opening: 17th of January 2026

Claridge’s Bakery

Mayfair

An iconic London venue is turning its attention to the simple joy of great bread and classic bakes.

Opening on Brook’s Mews in Mayfair, Claridge’s Bakery will be led by acclaimed baker Richard Hart, marking his long-awaited return to the UK. The menu celebrates British baking at its best, from bloomers and granary loaves to jammy dodger tarts, custard tarts, Belgian buns and iced fingers, all baked fresh each morning.

Inspired by Hart’s London upbringing and Claridge’s rich heritage, the bakery is designed to be welcoming and unfussy, whether you’re popping in for a loaf or lingering over something sweet. It’s a quietly exciting addition to the area and one that’s set to become a daily staple for locals and visitors.

Opening: 21st of January 2026

MA/NA

Mayfair

Late-night glamour meets modern Japanese dining at this new Mayfair opening.

The outside of MA/NA at night before it opens in January

Launching on Grosvenor Street, MA/NA is the latest project from the Thesleff Group, the team behind Sale e Pepe and Los Mochis. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of “mana”, the life force within ingredients, the menu explores traditional Japanese techniques through a contemporary lens, with dishes ranging from king crab with yuzu and truffle ponzu to wagyu seared on Himalayan salt stone.

The space is designed for evenings that unfold naturally, with cocktails flowing into dinner and back again. Dark wood panelling, amber lighting and a dramatic dragon-shaped banquette set the scene, while an extensive cocktail, wine and sake list ensures MA/NA feels as much like a destination bar as it does a restaurant.

Opening: January 2026

Hoppers Shoreditch

Shoreditch

One of London’s most-loved Sri Lankan restaurants is opening a bold new chapter in Shoreditch.

Taking over the former Lyle’s space in the Tea Building, Hoppers Shoreditch will be the group’s fourth location, backed again by JKS Restaurants. This outpost expands beyond Sri Lanka to explore five regions of South India, with menus featuring regional curries, dosas, biryanis and street food alongside Hoppers classics like mutton rolls and jaggery lamb kari.

The design reimagines South Indian palaces and homes through a contemporary Shoreditch lens, while the drinks menu nods to café culture with playful takes on rose milk, filter coffee and jigarthanda.

Opening: Early 2026

Tresind

Mayfair

A globally celebrated Indian restaurant is making its highly anticipated London debut.

Originally launched in Dubai, Tresind has built an international reputation for its modernist approach to Indian cuisine, blending bold flavours with refined presentation. The menu is expected to showcase dishes such as scarlet prawn crudo with Kashmiri chilli XO, premium steaks and luxurious plates finished tableside.

Set to open in Mayfair, the London outpost promises a high-end, theatrical dining experience with opulent interiors and meticulous attention to detail. With its sister restaurant Tresind Studio holding three Michelin stars, expectations are understandably high, making this one of January’s most closely watched openings.

Opening: Early 2026

Tiella Trattoria

Columbia Road

A cult pub residency is stepping into its long-awaited permanent home.

Following a much-loved run at The Compton Arms, chef Dara Klein is opening Tiella Trattoria & Bar on Columbia Road. Rooted in regional Italian cooking and shaped by Klein’s time at Brawn, Trullo and Sager & Wilde, the menu champions Italian and British produce with rustic, deeply comforting dishes.

The former pub space retains its original character, with a central bar, open kitchen and a generous terrace for warmer months. With Italian wines, beers on tap and a neighbourhood-first feel, everyone will be wanting a table.

Opening: Mid January 2026

Burro

Covent Garden

Italian cooking, done with confidence and a generous hand of butter.

Opening in Covent Garden’s Floral Court, Burro is the first solo venture from Trullo chef and co-owner Conor Gadd. Set in the former Petersham Nurseries site, the restaurant blends Italian ’50s bistro style with subtle nods to Gadd’s Irish roots, alongside a tucked-away terrace perfect for lingering meals.

The menu leans into Italian classics, from fried artichokes with bottarga to fresh pastas like duck and porcini ragù, finished with indulgent mains such as vitello al burro. Desserts, including tiramisu bomboloni doughnuts, ensure a properly satisfying ending, making Burro one of the most comforting new openings to start the year.

Opening: Early 2026
