1. The simple nomination form makes it easy to put a spotlight on a worthy business support professional in your organisation. Nominations are accepted from line managers, colleagues, and you’re welcome to self-nominate.
2. Once a nomination is received, the nominee will be notified and invited to apply for the awards. Please pay close attention to:
   • Completing the application before the deadline
   • Reading the award criteria and questions carefully, and providing all requested details
   • Submitting as much evidence as possible to support the application — this could include recognition posts, thank-you or feedback emails, project details and more
3. You’ll also receive a link to share with colleagues, so they can provide further evidence of your achievements and impact — anything from a quoted testimonial to any other supporting evidence they’re happy to give. The number of nominations and evidence submissions received will help inform the judges. We want to recognise members of our community no matter the size of the company they work for.
4. The shortlist of finalists will be announced in November.
5. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend the Business Support Awards to find out if they’ve won on the night. You must purchase a ticket to attend.

Please note, the following will NOT help your application:

• Providing too little information — take your time and show evidence that you meet the criteria for the award
• Nominations and supporting evidence from friends or family — as this is an industry award, only those you’ve worked with can support your application

Eligibility

This award programme is dedicated to UK administrative professionals. You must be able to demonstrate that your title and role are at least 90% administrative. Common job titles include Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Virtual Assistant, Office Manager, Chief of Staff and Personal Assistant.
