What?
MNKY HSE announces new head chef Mark Morrans, formerly of the Michelin-starred Nahm, reshaping the menu into a colourful and experimental array of Latin American cuisine.
The menu has been redesigned and enhanced by Mark’s signature fare, showcasing the ingredients and skills gathered from his global travels, including delicacies such as Seabass Ceviche, Lamb Shoulder Taco, Stone Bass, and Japanese Wagyu Strip Loin. Elsewhere the menu now has a stronger focus on flavours from all over Latin America.
The restaurant and bar now has not one but two culinary stars in its kitchen as Mark brings with him senior sous chef Begonya Sanchez who has honed her skills at such Michelin Starred Barcelona legends as Arola and Lasarte.

The Vibes?
Sophisticated yet edgy, with oodles of energy. MNKY has been described as a ‘one stop shop’ owing to its various faces as a restaurant, bar and music destination. The ‘Monkey House’ vibe continues inside, with tables scattered with plastic monkeys and the monkey logo embossed throughout the restaurant.
What We Ate & Drank?
Starters:
Hamachi Truffle Ceviche – This is unbelievable- you need to get it no matter what!
Wagyu- Delicious- these are served on Toastadas
Courgette Flowers with Goats Cheese- Loved these but one is enough per person!
Main Course:
We got the Stone Bass which has the same sort of texture as Black Cod and flavours! It was so yummy and served with purple potatoes which was really cool!
We also got the short rib which was so tasty!
Our Thoughts?
Great buzzy vibe- we went on a Friday! Such a great spot to have your dinner and then go to the bar after to relax!
Meets their ‘Eat, Drink, Play’ Motto!
