Fatt Pundit – Soho’s latest addition to the quirky neighbourhood has opened its door with what some might call an interesting cuisine! With the menu originating from Kolkata, this place is definitely something new and exciting. Whilst incorporating the traditional Chinese cooking techniques with the spices of India creates a fusion in their dishes which will tantalise your taste buds!
The Food…
The Kid Goat Momo below was recommended to us as one of their most popular dishes, bursting with flavour and spices, this plate captivated the fiery culture of the food and tied us in with the first bite! The Momo Dumplings come with the option of Chicken, Beef or the Mixed Vegetable – ensuring there is an option for everyone!
The Lollypop chicken was a crispy and fiery delight, creating a mix up in texture between each saucy plate!
If spice is your thing then be sure to check out the Bombay Chilli Prawns, with a tangy chilli kick, paired with mixed peppers. The flavours really entice you, this dish was a real winner!
The vegetable Hakka Noodles are a great compliment to any dish you choose, we paired these with the Bombay Chilli Prawns for a rich and mouth watering combo.
The Decor
The decor in Fatt Pundit was contemporary and rustic. The walnut wood chairs paired with the plain steel tables gave the room a minimalistic and roomy feel which complimented the space. The brick floor gave the restaurant a raw and exposed industrial feel which exemplified individuality!
