After a variety of experiences at other Michelin star restaurants including “Pru Leiths”, “Antony Worrall Thompson”, “Richard Corrigan” etc. He became head chef at “Le Phenicien” and “Cave at Caviar House” in Piccadilly.

In February 2012, “Lanka” second shop was opened at Goldhurst Terrace in Finchley Road. Which specialises in homemade French style cakes and pure Ceylon teas.

La Dinette

La Dinette is about trying to recreate my childhood memories. Which are mostly filled with Sunday trips to the local patisserie and market with my dad. Long family lunches ending with delicious and beautiful cakes. Rainy days at home baking with my sister (who has always been a much better cook than me). Making tons of jam with my mum and my grandma, and talking (and arguing) about food with my brother.

Using natural and organic products as much as possible. Organic flour from Shipton Mill, organic eggs from Rookery Farm. Valrhona Chocolate – the Rolls Royce of chocolate, locally roasted coffee from Campbell & Syme. We aim to create delicious food in a friendly environment.

Pierre Hermé

Pierre Hermé is known among fanatics as the master of macarons and the Picasso of pastry. His creations are unlike many others (reflected in the lofty pricing of £1.85 per sweet). Simple flavours are not his forte. Off-the-wall combinations are often released in the manner of haute-couture collections, with editions. White truffle and hazelnut or strawberry and balsamic vinegar were meant to send fans into a froth. If anything, the fancy French names for each flavour will delight: Mogador (milk chocolate and passionfruit); Arabella (milk chocolate, banana, ginger confit); Métissé (carrot, orange, cinnamon). Visit the clean-cut counter at Selfridges Food Hall or the shop proper in Belgravia
