Our Top New Openings This March

Six Senses London

Bayswater

A restorative West London retreat bringing courtyard calm to the heart of the city.

Set within the reimagined Whiteley building, Six Senses London pairs thoughtful design with a slower, more intentional pace. Inside, 109 rooms and suites feel soothing and residential, while Whiteley’s Kitchen, Bar and Café adds a social element just steps from Notting Hill. The first Six Senses Place blends wellness and community, inviting both members and guests to connect, pause and reset.

Downstairs, the spa is a destination in its own right. A 20-metre pool, Biohack Recovery Lounge, cryotherapy and flotation spaces sit alongside hands-on treatments and an Alchemy Bar focused on seasonal herbs. It’s a hotel designed to leave you feeling noticeably different from when you arrived.

Opening: 1st of March

Sale e Pepe Mare

Marylebone

A grand seafood revival set to bring drama back to The Langham’s main stage.

Taking over the flagship restaurant space at The Langham, this new chapter from the Thesleff Group reimagines the space as an all-day Italian seafood destination. Expect lobster linguine, seabass crudo and shellfish towers, with a theatrical seafood display showcasing the catch of the day. Trolleys roam the room with tiramisù served tableside, cacio e pepe finished in front of you, and Champagne poured as it passes.

It’s polished but lively, honouring a legacy that dates back to 1974 while giving Marylebone something fresh and just the right amount of flourish.

Opening: 2nd of March

TAQ

Notting Hill

A Notting Hill favourite reworked.

After two decades on Westbourne Grove, Taqueria returns as TAQ, with Jackson Boxer and culinary director Eduardo Yishima leading the refresh. The focus is firmly on tacos, tostadas and quesadillas, from tempura fish with macha mayo to grilled chuck steak with beef fat and matchstick fries.

A standout is the Colomba taco, inspired by Dove’s cult cheeseburger, made with dry-aged beef and finished with Red Leicester and pickled jalapeños. Add margaritas, mezcalitas and Mexican lagers, and it feels like a smart, considered step forward for a long-standing local name.

Opening: 3nd of March

Jul's

St James

Ibiza-born Mediterranean cooking arrives in St James with open fire and a wine wall.

Founded in Ibiza in 2018, Jul’s now brings its Greek-inspired, Mediterranean menu to London, taking over a former bank in St James. Chef Christos Fotos focuses on sustainability and local sourcing, with dishes expected to include giouvetsi, slow-cooked lamb flatbreads and grilled fish over open flame. The space itself promises impact, anchored by a dramatic, full-height wine wall.

Downstairs, late-night bar No. 11 adds a different energy, with cocktails built around distillations and infusions that echo the kitchen’s flavours. With an emphasis on thoughtful sourcing and a deep, globally minded wine list, Jul’s feels poised to become a new Mediterranean favourite.

Opening: 18th of March

Simpson's in the Strand

Embankment

A historic London dining room stepping confidently into its next chapter.

First opened in 1828, Simpson’s returns under restaurateur Jeremy King with a full-scale revival. The Grand Divan will once again host silver carving trolleys and a proudly British menu of roasts, grills, pies and game, alongside an indulgent Full English. The restoration leans into heritage while softening the layout for a more convivial feel.

Beyond the main dining room, the building unfolds into multiple experiences: Romano’s brasserie for all-day dining, a classic cocktail bar, late-night Nellie’s open until 3am, and a vast private Assembly Room seating 135.

Opening: 3rd of March

Impala

Soho

A charcoal-led Soho opening with Cairo energy at its core.

From ex-Kiln chef Meedu Saad, Impala centres around a live charcoal grill positioned at the heart of the dining room. The menu draws on Egyptian influences, French technique and Saad’s time at Kiln, with dishes like dry-aged Devon duck roasted over wood embers and skewers cooked close to white-hot coals. Seafood is handled with equal care, grilled to crisp the skin before resting above the fire.

Design-wise, expect concrete pillars, polished veneers and a hum reminiscent of Cairo’s Friday markets. With its own Exmoor-reared lamb and a deep commitment to seasonal sourcing, this feels like one of the year’s most closely watched openings.

Opening: March 2026

Holy Carrot

Shoreditch

Live-fire cooking meets bold, produce-led creativity in Spitalfields.

Following its Notting Hill success, Holy Carrot expands east with a broader menu that now includes vegetarian dishes alongside its plant-led core. Chef Daniel Watkins brings his signature live-fire approach, transforming vegetables over coals into deeply flavoured plates, from fire-grilled leeks with smoked hot sauce to masala borlotti beans and signature smoked carrot.

A new fermentation vault underpins the kitchen’s near-zero-waste ethos, turning by-products into punchy new ingredients. With partners like Natoora and a focus on small-scale growers, the result is inventive, sustainable cooking that feels both thoughtful and exciting.

Opening: 13th of March

El Siete

Soho

An agave-led cocktail den hidden beneath Soho’s streets.

Opening below El Pastor Soho, El Siete takes its name from a Mexico City nightclub that shaped the founders’ early inspiration. The menu plays on the number seven: seven margaritas, seven original agave cocktails, seven elevated classics, plus a carefully curated back bar of sipping mezcals. Table service keeps the mood unhurried, no queues, just perfectly timed drinks.

Enter via Brewer Street and descend into a low-lit lounge with a central horseshoe bar. With mini tostadas and chile de arbol popcorn served late into the night, it promises a warm, quietly buzzy addition to Soho’s after-dark scene.

Opening: 14th of March
