Hawksmoor’s original late-night venue embodies the attitude and character that makes Hawksmoor so unique. Situated below our Hawksmoor Spitalfields restaurant, Spitalfields Bar takes the very best of Hawksmoor – the cocktails, the food, the hospitality, and the décor – to create an atmospheric, private-use space that makes for memorable events and gatherings. The legendary basement bar features vintage brass and mirror wall panelling, a copper-topped bar and generous leather booths set within the underground arches. Spitalfields Bar can be hired for private functions, Christmas parties, launches or corporate events, with space to bring your own DJs or live music. It is available to exclusively book 20-30 guests (seated) and 30-70 guests (standing) from Monday to Saturdays, daytime, and evening, and it has its own private entrance. Our menus have been crafted with groups in mind – canapes and bowl food, sharing cuts and canapes that channel the very best of Hawksmoor menus – expect our dry-aged steaks, sustainable seafood from British coastlines, and carefully-sourced seasonal ingredients. Along with our award-winning cocktails, our wine team can also help select incredible wines that will pair perfectly with your event. We can cater for vegetarians, or any other dietary requirements that you and your guests may have. The room has the option to includes a portable 65 inch screen to for presentations or screening events. We also have an internal PA system to hook up a microphone, playlist or event for your own DJ.
