The Vibes?
With foliage and lanterns hanging from wooden beams overhead, this is a place to get cosy under thick blankets by the heaters and sip on owner Tom Soden’s legendary hot buttered rum this winter.
What we ate & drank:
Gunmakers offer a selection of small plates with a veggie and asian focus.
We had:
- King January cabbage with chilli, mint and ginger
- Crispy tofu knots with sweet and spicy sauce
- Bean and lentel curry pigs with tamarind sauce
Then we went for the Confit Duck which was just beautiful!
Dessert
We had to go for the rhubarb and blood orange crumble- It was so fresh and perfect.
Our Thoughts?
Love this hidden gem hidden in the heart of Farringdon.
Highly recommend going for lunch and checking it out! They do great cocktails too!
