What?
The Allis is a public bar and lounge on the ground floor of White City House. Originally opened at our House in Chicago, named after Charles Allis, the turn-of-the-century industrialist and philantropist – and the architect who commissioned the building in 1907, The Allis Istanbul opened in 2015. The White City menu is a take on the original, with a more English twist – you can expect the Allis cheeseburger, bavette steak, lamb meatballs, kentish burrata, scotch duck egg, cauliflower rice, grain bowls and more.
Where?
Located in the up and coming White City.
The Vibes?
Relaxed, with cool interiors and an outdoor terrace. Great spot for meetings and lunches in West London.
What We Ate?
We went for the following:
Smashed Avo with raw veg and taro crisps
Tuna Tartare ( I would advise not getting both the smashed avo and the tartare as it’s both a lot of avocado so pick one! )
Crispy Prawns ( These are a must)
Burrata
Kale Caeser
Not to forget the potted salmon in the left hand corner! Such pretty dishes! Love the plates…
And then dessert…..
I was so full but our lovely waiter insisted we had to try the desserts- he was not wrong!
NY STYLE CHEESECAKE and Yorkshire rhubarb & Banoffee Ice Cream Sundae.
Our Thoughts?
You must get the potted Salmon and the prawns! The buzz is great here… I really think White City is going to turn into a great spot!
