WHAT
A contemporary and vibrant restaurant, inspired by the food and culture of Sicily with particular influence on the moorish influences of the island’s cuisine, with the celebrated chef, Ben Tish, at the helm.
WHERE?
8 Charlotte Street, Fitzrovia, London W1T 2LS
THE VIBES
Sicilian with a touch of contemporary offering three storeys of intricately patterned tiles, hefty slabs of green marble skirting, and warm orche-coloured booth seating.
You have the main restaurant on the ground floor, on the second floor boasts a cocktail bar and more seating which is ideal for a private party and then on the 3rd floor you have the private dining room which can hold up to 12 people.
WHAT WE ATE?
STARTERS:
Caponata- a tomato ragu style dip with a touch of mint- make sure you order!
Beech-smoked Anchovies on toast
Red Prawns- their signature dish they are really yum!
Pan fried Artichokes- these were one of my favourite dishes so flavoursome
MAINS:
Pasta a la Norma- another one of their signature dishes that you must try!
OUR THOUGHTS
One of our favourite restaurants this year! A must try! They also have a low minimum spend on their private dining room which is amazing! £600 for lunch and £900 for dinner!
