 Welcome to Miss Jones Listings

Your listing is your shop window for our members, and all our clients that land on your page. We highly recommend you take the time to highlight what it is that makes your venue or service stand out. What is your USP? What unique features do you have and do you offer that others don’t? What extra perks can you offer our savvy network of corporate bookers? Why should they book with you?

We have compiled the following tips to help you come up in directory searches time and again. We encourage you to do everything you can to ensure your listing stands out!! 

If multiple people need access to your profile, we suggest using a shared email address (e.g. events@/bookings@) if you do not wish to have them login with your personal email.

Listing Tips

For Venues

Venue Type: Please select the option that best describes your venue. For instance, if you are a hotel, choose “Hotel.” No need to select multiple venue types example ‘Bar’ & ‘Hotel’ 

Occasions: Select only the occasions you can host and are your most popular events. Avoid selecting everything; focus on those events most relevant to your venue.

Address: When entering your address, ensure that you wait for the full address to appear via Google. It’s really important to Click on the Google name so that it displays correctly on our map function.

Venue Name: Include the name of the venue itself, not just the name of the space within your venue.

Description: Provide a general description of the venue as a whole. We recommend about 200 words. We also recommend adding all the activities that may be possible at your venue if you offer this.

Layouts: Select all the different types of layouts your venue can accommodate. You can list spaces within the venue listing separately and choose from the layouts you’ve selected here.

Capacity: Choose the maximum number of guests your entire venue can accommodate, both standing and sitting.

Photos: Include the best photos showcasing your venue. Make sure these are in landscape form.

Videos: It’s highly recommended to include a video showcasing your venue and you can add more than 1, whether that’s a promotional video or a walk-through of your venue which is particularly engaging if shot well.

Matterport Link: A Matterport link in 3D can help clients visualise your venue online.

Amenities: Select only the amenities your venue can accommodate.

Pricing: Provide a starting price range. While we understand this can vary, please include the lowest price you typically offer.

Price Per Person: This is typically used for set menus or Christmas/Summer party packages.

Perk for Miss Jones: To incentivise our members to continually book your venue through us, consider offering a value-added perk such as a discount, welcome drink or complimentary room upgrade upon arrival. Something that adds value and makes your offering stand out above the rest. 

Eg Complimentary Starter, Cocktails, Bubbles or 25% off Monday- Thursday or Complimentary Room Upgrade subject to availability.

You could also add something like a reward if booked that the team or booker might get to come in and experience the venue. A lot of our bookers book places that they might not get to try so it’s nice to invite them in to say thank you.

Eg Lunch for 2 for the booker if you book an event over £5000 or bottle of bubbles/cocktails at the venue- this way they could invite the team and use the venue as a team building whilst experiencing the venue

Listing Submission: Once you click submit your listing will go into ‘Pending’ for the Miss Jones team to review. You can then add more spaces to your listing, (while you are waiting for approval) if your venue has multiple spaces to offer. These will be nestled within your venue listing.

Once we review the listing we will publish it to make it live. You can then login and edit/update your listing seasonally or at any time.

For Suppliers

Category: Select the category only relevant to your service

Address: When entering your address, ensure that you wait for the full address to appear via Google. Click on the Google name so that it displays correctly on our map function. 

Pricing: Please advise the best pricing details you can give. Price Per Person – this may be the starting price per person, Prices from- this might be what the prices for your services start from…
