An evening & lunch with Chef-Patron Michel Roux Jr.
Michel Roux Jr of Le Gavroche returns to YOXMAN
London’s world famous Le Gavroche may have closed its doors, but Michel Roux Jr is back at Wilderness Reserve, Suffolk, this December. Taking place from Wednesday 11th – Thursday 12th December, the final YOXMAN of 2024 will be a very unique two-day dining event with the legendary chef. Guests can book a one-night dining experience, alongside an overnight stay in one of the eclectic cottages, barns, farmhouses & manors. The following day Michel will be cooking a woodland lunch which is sold as limited release lunch day-tickets.
Check in from 2pm on Wednesday 11th December and enjoy an afternoon of ranger activities, Laurent Perrier Champagne tasting sessions and live music. In the evening, guests will be transported to the woodland dining area for a drink’s reception and live entertainment from fire performers, before being treated in an exceptional three course dinner under the canopy. After dinner, there will be live entertainment before a BMW transfer back to accommodation for all guests. The following day, guests will be treated to wild swimming with winter warmer drinks at the Chapel Barn lake, before a continental breakfast in their respective properties from the Wilderness Reserve Estate Kitchen before check out at midday.
Guests booked to attend the lunch only will enjoy a woodland dining drinks and canapé reception from 12:30pm. Lunch will include a four-course lunch menu with drinks, entertainment and winter merriment, with a Q&A with Michel Roux Jr. after lunch from 4-6pm.
Michel Roux Jr. is the ex chef-patron of Le Gavroche, one of London’s most esteemed & iconic restaurants. Founded in 1967 by his father Albert Roux and uncle Michel Roux Sr. Le Gavroche was the first UK restaurant to earn three Michelin stars. Michel Roux Jr. took over in 1991, maintaining its legacy while adding his own touch of modern French elegance. He stands out for his mastery of French cuisine, honed through rigorous training and an innate passion for food. Raised in a family of culinary legends, he absorbed the art of precision and flavour from a young age. Michel Roux Jr previously cooked at YOXMAN in 2023 and we can’t wait to welcome him back for the December 2024 event.

Pricing: Evening dinner and accommodation from £1200 per room (£600pp) / Four course lunch dining experience priced at £350 per person. Ticket price includes all food, drinks, activities and transport.
