Rycrofte’s

The City

Tucked beside St Dunstan-in-the-East, Rycrofte’s offers a refined yet relaxed take on modern British dining. Inspired by historic figure Sir John Rycrofte, the restaurant blends tradition with creativity, serving seasonal dishes that feel both comforting and elevated.

Located within The Derby London City, it’s designed as an all-day space where guests can drop in from morning through to evening. Expect dishes like slow-braised short rib and ale-battered fish and chips, alongside classic desserts and a welcoming, quietly elegant atmosphere.

Opened: 31st of March

Hell’s Kitchen at The Cumberland Hotel

Marble Arch

Arriving at The Cumberland Hotel, Hell’s Kitchen brings one of Gordon Ramsay’s most recognisable restaurant concepts to London. Inspired by the high-energy TV show, the space promises a bold, theatrical dining experience right in the heart of Marble Arch.

The menu leans into signature dishes, including his iconic beef Wellington. Expect big flavours, polished presentation, and a lively atmosphere that makes dinner feel like an event!

Opening: 2nd of April

Auguste

London Fields

Auguste lands in London Fields with a warm, neighbourhood feel and a concept centred around arrosticini – traditional flame-grilled skewers from Italy’s Abruzzo region. The space is intimate yet lively, with a charcoal grill at its heart and a relaxed East London energy.

The menu showcases everything from lamb and wagyu skewers to comforting plates like stracciatella and handmade pasta in broth. Low-intervention wines and classic cocktails make it an easy choice for a laid-back but memorable evening.

Opening: 1st of April

Padella

Soho

A decade on from its Borough Market debut, Padella continues its London expansion with a new opening in Soho. Known for its simple, high-quality pasta and famously long queues, this latest outpost brings its signature energy to the heart of the West End.

Upstairs keeps things casual, while a new downstairs dining space takes inspiration from a 1960s Soho lounge. Expect beloved favourites like cacio e pepe alongside a handful of new dishes, all at the same accessible price point.

Opening: 16th of April

KINZ

Notting Hill

Set within a beautifully restored former bank in Notting Hill, KINZ is a striking new Lebanese restaurant from a trio deeply connected to the cuisine. The space itself is a destination, with a deli at the front and a dramatic dining room unfolding beyond.

The menu blends traditional and modern Lebanese dishes, from mezze like baba ghanoush to heartier plates such as lamb kafta and fattet aubergine. With a wine room in the old vault and multiple dining spaces, it’s a great addition to the neighbourhood.

Opening: 27th of April

Tavern

Shoreditch

From the team behind Nest and Michelin-starred St Barts, Tavern reimagines the classic British pub as a refined Shoreditch bistro. The interiors are understated yet cosy, with candlelight, white tablecloths, and a relaxed but polished feel.

The menu focuses on seasonal British produce, with dishes cooked over fire and designed for sharing. Expect everything from inventive snacks to larger plates like turbot and hogget.

Opening: 28th of April

Ornella

Hackney

Following the success of Lupa in Highbury, the team returns with Ornella, a more ambitious Italian restaurant opening on Hackney’s Wilton Way. This time, the focus shifts north to Milan, bringing a slightly more refined and formal approach to the menu.

Expect classic dishes like risotto alla Milanese and vitello tonnato, alongside fresh pasta and Italian desserts. With a larger space and terrace seating, it’s set to become a standout spot for summer evenings and long, relaxed dinners.
