Taking over the former L’Atelier Robuchon site on Clarges Street, Cordelia’s Mayfair is a new live-fire steakhouse bringing a contemporary take on classic dining to Mayfair.
The menu will centre around British cuts of beef cooked over charcoal, alongside seafood and seasonal dishes, with cocktails and a late-night atmosphere adding to the experience. With its prime location and sophisticated setting, it’s one to watch for dinners and entertaining in the heart of Mayfair.
Following the success of its Islington and previous Stratford locations, Soul Mama is opening a new home in Westfield Stratford City this October.
Created by musician and broadcaster YolanDa Brown, the concept combines food, live music and entertainment, with a menu drawing from African, Caribbean and South American influences. The new venue will offer lunch during the day before transforming into a restaurant and live music venue in the evening, with weekend brunches also on the menu.
Cloth is taking over one of the City’s most historic restaurant spaces, moving into the former Simpson’s Tavern on Cornhill.
The new restaurant will bring the Cloth team’s modern British chophouse concept to the Grade II-listed setting, with a menu focused on quality British produce, chops and steaks, while also paying homage to some of Simpson’s Tavern’s classic dishes. Opening on 1 October, it’s an exciting new addition to the City dining scene.
Opening as part of The Webster hotel at Lincoln’s Inn Fields, Carmelina’s is set to bring an Italian all-day dining experience to central London.
Expect handmade pasta, an open kitchen, a dedicated wine bar and a relaxed yet polished atmosphere. The wider destination will also include Carmelina’s Al Banco, a Milanese-inspired café and terrace, alongside basement cocktail bar Carla’s, making this more than just a new restaurant opening.
Sushi master Endo Kazutoshi is bringing his next chapter to Chelsea this October with ENDO, an intimate 10-seat omakase restaurant at Blacklands Terrace.
Guests will experience a multi-course Japanese menu prepared directly at the counter, while upstairs, Moga will offer a completely different experience as a sophisticated listening bar. Together, the two spaces create a destination that moves from an intimate dining experience downstairs to drinks and music upstairs.
Market Place is bringing its food hall concept to Victoria Station this October, with a collection of food and drink vendors under one roof.
The new location will be the group’s first food hall inside a major London station, offering a variety of cuisines and plenty of choice for groups. With its central location and flexible format, it’s designed for everything from quick lunches and after-work drinks to casual group gatherings.
Set within Paddington Square, Torino is a new three-storey Italian “social house” bringing together a restaurant, bakery and rooftop bar.
The concept is designed to take guests from morning coffee and freshly baked goods through to Italian dining and aperitivo, with the rooftop offering views across London. With its all-day format and location next to Paddington Station, Torino is set to become a new destination for both locals and those travelling through the area.
The Prince Arthur is moving from its original Belgravia home to Chelsea, where the pub is being transformed into a Basque-inspired restaurant.
Expect a menu centred around seafood, premium ingredients and cooking over fire, alongside a dedicated fish counter and an upstairs bar. The combination of a neighbourhood pub feel with a more elevated restaurant offering makes it an interesting addition to Chelsea’s dining scene.
One of London’s most recognisable restaurant groups is heading to Borough this October, with Dishoom taking over the Grade II-listed Hop Exchange on Southwark Street.
Spread across two floors with a covered verandah, the new restaurant will bring Dishoom’s Bombay-inspired all-day dining to London Bridge, alongside dishes created especially for the new location, including Keralan pepper chicken. The opening also includes a 50% food discount during its soft-launch period from 12–20 October.
After more than two decades at Borough Market, Roast is opening its second London restaurant in Shoreditch this October.
Located on Curtain Road at Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch, the new restaurant will continue Roast’s focus on modern British cooking, seasonal ingredients and its much-loved roast dinners. It’s a natural next step for the established brand and brings its signature style of British dining to a new part of the city.
Hidden beneath Brasserie Olivia in Sloane Square, Venus Bar is a new underground cocktail bar with a more intimate, late-night feel.
The wood-panelled space is designed around vintage records and a relaxed drinking-den atmosphere, offering cocktails and music away from the bustle of the brasserie upstairs. As part of La Nouvelle Garde’s first London opening, it adds another layer to the already lively Brasserie Olivia destination.
Taking over the 19th floor of the Locke hotel in Canary Wharf, Alto 19 is a new Mediterranean restaurant from the group behind Kricket and Lina Stores.
The menu is being led by a former J Sheekey chef and is designed to be deliberately unfussy, with the high-rise setting providing the real wow factor. With panoramic views and a relaxed Mediterranean approach, Alto 19 looks set to be a standout new destination for dining and drinks in Canary Wharf.

Why settle for a standard party venue when you can give your guests an incredible backdrop too? Rooftops, riverside settings and skyline views are an easy way to make a Christmas celebration feel extra special, while giving guests plenty to enjoy before the party even gets started.
1864 Rooftop Igloos
For a Christmas party with a difference, head up to 1864’s rooftop igloos on Oxford Street. Cosy, festive and surrounded by views across central London, the private igloos offer a more intimate setting for festive drinks, dining and celebrations. It’s a great option for smaller teams looking to combine the atmosphere of a rooftop party with the warmth and cosiness of a winter escape.
Set high above Finsbury Square, Aviary brings together panoramic London views, stylish interiors and a lively atmosphere. Its rooftop setting makes it a memorable choice for a Christmas celebration, whether you’re planning drinks and canapés or a larger festive event. New to London Bridge, Coppa Club’s latest opening brings its relaxed, stylish atmosphere to one of the city’s most recognisable locations. Its combination of comfortable interiors, great food and an unbeatable location makes it one to keep in mind for Christmas 2026.
The Christmas party is becoming an experience in itself, with teams choosing interactive entertainment and themed events over a traditional sit-down dinner. From immersive performances to games and live entertainment, these venues give guests something to get involved in throughout the evening.
Humbug: Santa’s Christmas Dive Bar
Forget the traditional Christmas party and step into Santa’s dive bar instead. Humbug combines immersive entertainment, festive cocktails, live performances and plenty of unexpected twists for a Christmas celebration that feels more like an experience than a standard night out. It’s ideal for teams looking for something playful, theatrical and guaranteed to give guests plenty to talk about afterwards.
Take your Christmas party to the next level at Hijingo, where traditional bingo gets a high-energy makeover. Expect immersive visuals, music, cocktails and plenty of competition as teams battle it out for the win. With its lively atmosphere and interactive format, it’s a fun option for groups who want to spend less time sitting around a dinner table and more time getting involved.
Step back into the glamour of 1950s New York at Belle Livingstone’s 58th Street Country Club. Inspired by the golden age of jazz, the venue combines live music, cocktails and an intimate atmosphere for a Christmas celebration with plenty of character. It’s a great choice for smaller groups looking for something stylish, entertaining and a little different from the usual festive party.
You don’t need to head to the Alps to enjoy an après-ski-inspired Christmas party. Alpine-themed venues are bringing log cabins, warming drinks, winter décor and plenty of festive atmosphere to London, making them perfect for teams who want to embrace the season.
Setlist
Located on the riverside at Somerset House, Setlist combines food, music and festive celebrations in a stylish setting. For Christmas, groups can enjoy a festive dinner or drinks reception, with the option to add a skating experience at Somerset House’s famous ice rink. It’s a great way to turn your Christmas party into a full festive day out.
The Montague’s Ski Lodge returns for 2026, transforming the hotel into a cosy alpine escape in the heart of Bloomsbury. Think pine trees, falling snow, twinkling lights, warming drinks and plenty of festive charm. Available for exclusive hire, it’s a great option for groups wanting the full après-ski experience without leaving central London.
For something a little more colourful, Bubba Oasis brings a playful tropical twist to the winter season. Its vibrant setting and relaxed atmosphere make it a fun alternative to more traditional Christmas venues, particularly for teams looking for a party that feels informal, energetic and full of personality.
Not every Christmas celebration needs to follow the same format. From live music and bowling to an evening at a working brewery, these venues put their own spin on the traditional Christmas party, giving teams plenty to do alongside the food and drinks.
The Piano Works
At The Piano Works, live music is at the heart of the party. The venue’s bands take requests and play everything from favourite classics to festive hits, creating an atmosphere that naturally moves from dinner and drinks to dancing. With flexible packages for different group sizes, it’s a great choice for teams who want the entertainment to be part of the evening from the start.
Swap the dancefloor for the bowling lanes at All Star Lanes. Combining bowling, food, drinks and plenty of friendly competition, it offers a more relaxed alternative to a traditional Christmas dinner. It’s particularly well suited to teams who want their celebration to be interactive, with the opportunity to split into teams and make a little competition part of the evening.
For beer lovers, Christmas at Guinness Open Gate Brewery offers something a little different. Based in Covent Garden, the brewery combines private event spaces with food, drinks and the opportunity to explore the world of Guinness through its immersive brewery experiences. Festive options include tours, dining and private parties, making it an ideal choice for a celebration with plenty to discover.
For some teams, you simply can’t beat a beautifully presented Christmas dinner in an exceptional setting. London is home to some of the most iconic hotels, offering elegant dining, impeccable service and spaces that make even the most traditional Christmas celebration feel special.

Few London hotels are as synonymous with timeless glamour as The Savoy. Set on the Strand, this iconic hotel offers an elegant backdrop for festive dinners, drinks and celebrations, with its distinctive Art Deco interiors and legendary hospitality. It’s a setting where the focus can be on exceptional food, good company and a beautifully considered atmosphere.
Sometimes the best way to celebrate is to leave London behind altogether. Country estates, private retreats and luxury hotels offer the chance to turn a Christmas party into a full experience, with space to enjoy the countryside, great food and plenty of time together.
Wilderness Reserve
For a Christmas celebration that feels like a true escape, Wilderness Reserve offers private countryside estates surrounded by nature. With beautifully designed accommodation, private spaces and the opportunity to stay overnight, it’s perfect for teams wanting to make more of their Christmas celebration. September is shaping up to be a very exciting month for London’s dining scene, with a whole host of new restaurants, bars and hotel spaces opening across the city. From a new Turkish restaurant in Soho to Japanese-Peruvian dining in Canary Wharf, there’s plenty to add to your list. Whether you’re looking for somewhere new for a client lunch, a team dinner or simply your next dinner reservation, we’ve rounded up the openings we’re most excited to see this month.
Want to stay in the know? Sign up to the Miss Jones newsletter for all the latest London openings, industry news, exclusive offers and plenty more. We’re always keeping an eye on what’s new and happening across the city, so you’ll be the first to hear about the places worth knowing about.
One of September’s most anticipated openings, KID sees chef Sertaç Dirik, formerly of Mangal II, join forces with David Carter, the chef behind OMA, AGORA and Smokestak.
This is Dirik’s first solo venture, bringing together his Turkish heritage, British produce and influences from his time cooking in Copenhagen. Expect pide, tombik, homemade çökelek cheese and wood-oven cooking, with a wine room that doubles as a private dining space.
Taking over a three-storey townhouse near Notting Hill Gate, NAKIMUSHI brings together chefs Yuji Shimokawa Kelly and Robin Kosuge.
The ground floor will be home to Kosuge’s ramen bar, serving signatures including lobster ramen and charshu pork belly ramen, while upstairs offers a broader take on Japanese cooking from Shimokawa Kelly. There’s also a dedicated bar serving Shochu Highballs, making this one to keep on your radar for something a little different.
Following the success of its Stratford restaurant, Bamboo Mat is bringing its contemporary Japanese-Peruvian Nikkei dining to a much larger space in Canary Wharf’s Wood Wharf.
Across two floors, the 82-cover restaurant will feature a raw bar, cocktail bar, robata, sushi and hot kitchen. Expect premium sushi alongside Japanese classics with a Peruvian twist, including ceviche and tiradito, all within interiors inspired by Japanese precision and Peruvian energy.
International steakhouse Beefbar is taking over Dear Jackie at Broadwick Soho for its new UK flagship.
Already established in destinations including Monte Carlo and New York, Beefbar brings a more glamorous take on the traditional steakhouse, with Japanese Kobe and Australian Wagyu alongside lighter Riviera-inspired dishes. The London menu will also introduce new creations, including Ispahan Bloom and Chilean sea bass with rosewater, lychee and raspberry.
Acclaimed chef, broadcaster and author Romy Gill MBE is taking the reins at The Pem at Conrad London St. James, bringing her personal take on the regional flavours of India.
Designed for sharing, the menu draws on Romy’s heritage and travels, from the coastal kitchens of Bengal and Kerala to Punjab and Rajasthan. It’s a new chapter for the established Westminster dining room, combining Romy’s distinctive culinary voice with The Pem’s welcoming, refined setting.
Bringing a little taste of the French Riviera to Mayfair, Le Café LPM will take up a year-long residency at The Lanesborough from September.
The new standalone concept from La Petite Maison will offer an all-day menu of coffee, pâtisserie and elegant Mediterranean dishes, moving into aperitifs as the day goes on. With a beautifully relaxed setting and a Riviera-inspired feel, it’s set to be a stylish new spot for everything from morning coffee to evening drinks.
The newest boutique hotel to arrive in Mayfair, The Shepherd offers 82 rooms and suites just off Park Lane, with a more intimate, residential feel than the area’s grand hotels.
Alongside the hotel itself, guests can enjoy Fayre, a 62-cover restaurant serving seasonal British dishes throughout the day, plus The Lounge for coffee and light bites. Hidden beneath the hotel, Teddy’s is a late-night cocktail bar, while an outdoor terrace adds to the offering.
The team behind Peckham favourites Levan and Bar Levan are heading into central London with Cassette, a new French-inspired restaurant in Covent Garden.
Expect Parisian bistro influences, seasonal dishes and a drinks list with a particular focus on Calvados, alongside an interesting wine selection. The two-floor space will feature an open kitchen and dining room downstairs, with a terrace upstairs. Even the name has a story, inspired by co-founder Mark Gurney’s DJ playlists.
Set within Brown Hart Gardens, Pearl is a new all-day dining destination from The Beaumont and Culinary Director Lisa Goodwin-Allen.
The menu takes inspiration from the Mediterranean, with dishes designed around social dining and sharing, while the terrace brings a touch of European terrace culture to Mayfair. From breakfast and leisurely lunches to afternoon aperitivo and family-style dinners, Pearl is designed to evolve throughout the day, with the surrounding gardens given a fresh new look.
Pizza lovers have a new Bermondsey opening to look forward to, with Five Feet Pizza coming from the team behind Luna and Legare and WatchHouse.
The focus is on fluffy, aerated dough baked in black iron pans for a crisp edge, topped with local and British ingredients. Think hot sausage, pepperoni and potato pies, alongside chicken wings, polenta fritta and plenty of dips for the crust. A new spot to add to your South London list.
From new restaurants putting a fresh spin on established cuisines to stylish new hotel and dining spaces, September has plenty of exciting additions to London’s ever-changing food and hospitality scene. Whether you’re planning a client dinner, team celebration or simply looking for somewhere new to try, there are plenty of openings worth knowing about.
