BEAR by Carlo Scotto

Beaconsfield

Carlo Scotto is back with his boldest project yet – a restaurant that brings diners closer to the chef than ever before.

BEAR by Carlo Scotto, opening in Beaconsfield, centres around two standout features: a 14-seat chef’s table offering a front-row experience, and a menu celebrating foraged British ingredients, many sourced daily from the Chiltern Hills and local woods. After earning acclaim at Amethyst for his boundary-pushing tasting menus, Carlo presents a sharper, more elevated expression of his style here, blending the British landscape with influences from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Guests can start with cocktails and canapés in the intimate lounge before moving to the chef’s table, where Carlo and his team interact directly with every diner, creating a rare and immersive connection. Dishes like Miso-Glazed Duck with girolles and damsons or Chalk Stream Trout with wild sea beets showcase his commitment to technique, storytelling, and seasonality.
