The mellow yellow house situated along Studland Bay, truly rural, with uninterrupted views of the long stretches of Dorset’s sandy coastlines.
The hotel has a walled kitchen garden, a sea view conservatory restaurant, a path leading straight down to the beach, their very own beach hut and just to round it all off a herd of Dorset Horn sheep.
All of the menus start in the kitchen garden. Everything driven by the kitchen gardeners, foragers and chefs. The food is uncomplicated and simple British garden and sea foraged food. True to the micro seasons with emphasis on fresh, clean flavours. The Pig has a huge commitment to the place they call home, celebrating Dorset in every plate. They work with 36 local suppliers to create the 25-mile menu.
The rooms mix a touch of luxury with bundles of homely charm. Each room has its own unique quirks and characteristics. Some rooms have stunning sea views and other looks out over beautiful surrounding countryside.
Down at the Shepherd’s hut take some time out and enjoy a revitalising spa treatment in total peace.
After a day walking along Studland Bay taking in the beautiful views, relax by the roaring log fire and enjoy the delicious menus on offer.
