Colonel Saab is an elegant restaurant bar and private dining space in Holborn, from Roop Partap Choudhary that offers a unique quality dining experience with fine Indian flavours. Located in the former Holborn Town Hall, the restaurant is housed in the old public library. The original building was constructed in 1894 in the French Renaissance style, complete with arched entrances flanked by Corinthian style pillars and oriel windows on the first floor, and is now a listed heritage building.
From private celebrations to business meetings, Colonel Saab offers MemSaab 1 and 2, which are located on the ground floor, offering complete exclusivity for private dining. For large events, the rooms open out to accommodate up to 26 guests dining. The rooms are rich in design and colour, filled with beautiful artwork, antique furniture, as well as featuring a beautiful 100-year-old regal canopy made of gold and silver thread. The extraordinary private bar, created by Asprey’s of London for the Maharaja of Patiala in the 1920’s, marks this unique dining space.
