ABOUT
The LaLiT London – a luxury boutique hotel combining Indian culture with a quintessentially British charm, and retaining many original features.
Located in the 120-year-old neo-baroque building that was once St Olave’s Grammar School.
Just a stone’s throw away from Tower Bridge, the hotel is close to many of London’s stunning attractions and business hotspots.
The Bedrooms
The Vibes are modern with an Indian twist.
You are in the heart of London Bridge but you can’t hear a thing outside which is a massive perk!
“It’s nice to have something a bit different in the area as it’s usually filled with the normal corporate hotels”
Dining
Baluchi is pan-Indian dining destination within The LaLiT London, offering dining with a difference.
Set in the historic Grade II-listed hotel’s Great Hall, Baluchi is reminiscent of its former existence as 19th Century St. Olave’s Grammar School’s assembly hall.
Inspired by the rich curries of the North-West Frontier, Executive Chef Santosh Shah pairs the best of international culinary concepts with the complex and innovative flavours of India.
We absolutely loved the food and service here with our favourite dish being the Lamb Shank but all the food was so delicious.
I really love Indian Tapas style because you can then have a mix of everything!
Our Thoughts
Really recommend if you are looking for a hotel in the area because it is right in the heart of everything but also boasts views of Tower Bridge.
The staff are also all so lovely and helpful!
For Instance, they brought us up a little chocolate dessert treat to our room to finish the evening which was such a great touch!
