We were seated in the Bloom Room, which celebrates the coming of spring with blossom petal covered walls and vibrant pink decor down to the desserts and drinks! very insta-worthy!
What we ate & drank?
To start we had the classic Dynamite shrimp that P.F. Chang’s is renowned for, served retro-style in a martini glass, with a simple sriracha & mayo sauce, a down to earth dish that is simple and irresistible.
For mains we had Chinese BBQ pork ribs and Crispy prawns, the BBQ ribs were sweet, sticky and crispy, a classic dish that everyone can enjoy. The crispy prawns were the center piece of the meal, the ginger and the spring onions bring a fresh taste to the dish, while the red chili peppers add a light heat and together with the sweet mustard sauce delivers a well rounded dish full of flavour.
To drink we had the Rita & Masataka which seemed to be a combination of an old fashioned and negroni, sharp, short and full of flavour. To follow we had the Boseong cooler, which was a light drink, simple and delicate, with notes of ginger and green tea.
For dessert we turned to the ‘Bloom Room’ special menu, which has a great selection of drinks and desserts, we went for the pink paradise, with matcha, pink macaroons, raspberries and rose ice cream, the colour is as vibrant as the taste, fresh and delicate.
whether it’s a brunch, lunch or late night snack P.F. Chang’s can provide, the versatility and choice of the menu is sure to keep everyone happy and the extensive drinks and cocktail list is definitely worth checking out. The bloom room downstairs is also worth a visit, but hurry it’s only available until the 30th of April!
