MARYLEBONE

AngloThai is a contemporary Thai-British restaurant opening this autumn in Marylebone. Founded by huband and wife, chef John Chantarasak and Desiree Chantarasak, AngloThai offers a unique fusion of Thai and British flavors using seasonal British ingredients. With support from MJMK, the team behind acclaimed restaurants like KOL, this Marylebone location is their first permanent space after years of successful pop-ups. The menu draws on John’s mixed heritage and culinary background, combining Thai influences with locally sourced elements, including British-grown Asian herbs and vegetables. Featured dishes include inventive options like Ryall Farm hogget massaman and monkfish jungle curry, while Desiree oversees a wine list emphasizing biodynamic European wines.
The restaurant interior, crafted by designer May Redding, blends modern Thai design with cozy touches, including a private dining area called “Baan” (meaning “home” in Thai).
Sticks'n'Sushi
BATTERSEA

Danish Japanese restaurant, Sticks′n′Sushi, is bringing its unique combination of creative sushi and grilled sticks to London’s iconic Battersea Power Station on 30th November. A sushi restaurant even for those who don’t like fish, this is the perfect riverside destination welcoming shoppers, tourists and locals alike, from lunch through to dinner and everything in-between.
Located on Electric Boulevard just outside the South Entrance of the Power Station, the new restaurant will serve up much-loved Sticks′n′Sushi favourites; classic and innovative sushi, sashimi, tartare, grilled sticks and generous set menus to suit varied budgets and tastes, available for dine-in, takeaway and delivery.
Designed by award-winning Noma-Kyoto architects OEO Studio from Copenhagen, the playful and captivating interiors draw inspiration from the rich heritage of the Power Station combined with a modern contemporary flair. With an open plan dining room, kitchen counter, lounge and bar, and outdoor terrace, the restaurant will have a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere symbolising the renowned Japanese concept of ‘Omotenashi’ – to wholeheartedly look after every guest.
Claro

Claro, the latest restaurant from renowned Chef Ran Shmueli, brings the vibrant flavours of Eastern Mediterranean cuisine to central London. Known for his 30+ years of culinary expertise, Shmueli presents a contemporary menu inspired by the freshest Mediterranean ingredients and rich Middle Eastern influences, set in a relaxed, lively atmosphere.
With private spaces like The Gallery for up to 14 guests and The Loft for up to 70, Claro is perfect for intimate gatherings or larger celebrations. Highlights include freshly baked Frenah bread with labneh and harissa, yellowtail sashimi with freekeh tabbouleh, and grilled octopus with purple potatoes. Paired with curated wines and creative cocktails, Claro promises a memorable dining experience.
Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer
STRATFORD

Having first opened in 2015 with a small 15-cover site in New York’s Soho neighbourhood, Black Tap now has seven sites across the US and 20 sites globally. Now, owners Chris Barish and Julie Mulligan will open their first location in the buzzing Westfield shopping centre in Stratford City, before opening a larger site in Soho early next year.
The 100 seat restaurant in Westfield will be inspired by the original New York site, boasting the brand’s distinctive striped monochrome floors and walls decked in vibrant street art. Working with local UK suppliers including independent bakers as well as beef, Wagyu and dairy farmers, Black Tap’s menu will feature juicy Craft Burgers where the beef patty (griddled, never grilled) is served within a potato roll and a pickle on the side alongside a choice between fries, sweet potato fries or house salad. Guests can choose from classics such as The Champ with a ½ pound wagyu burger, blue cheese, rocket & house buttermilk dill, Black Tap Fish and Chip Sandwich as well as new creations made just for the UK. To accompany, there will be legendary Snacks and Sides such as house made Mozzarella Sticks and hand-battered Fried Pickles as well as a selection of three different styles of wings including their award-winning Korean BBQ. Black Tap’s menu will also feature burger salads, vegan dishes and vegetarian sides.

Located next door to the much-loved KIN Café: the new restaurant invites you to escape the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street – a few minutes’ walk away – and experience a vibrant dining experience. Whether vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or flexitarian, KIN offers real, freshly, prepared dishes that stand out on their own, no matter your dietary preference.
Redefining plant-based cuisine and celebrating the natural beauty of vegetables, Executive Chef, Shayan Shams has created a creative menu of bold, flavoursome dishes with sustainably sourced ingredients.
Indulge in small plates such as silky sweet potato with vegan parmesan and butter; carrot and chickpea hummus; charred ponzu-roasted cabbage; and broad bean croquettes. Larger plates come in the form of miso-glazed aubergine; courgette and pistachio spaghetti with vegan burrata and heirloom tomatoes; and a fabulous falafel plate.
