New restaurant openings this May
It’s always a good option going to your favorite restaurant when unsure where to dine, a menu that you know you love and a safe feeling of guaranteed satisfaction… but in a city so big there’s always new restaurants opening, so why not find your new fave this spring! We’ve put together a list of new restaurant openings this May, a range of different cuisines ensuring something for everyone, so get your reservations in early as these hotspots will get booked up in no time!
First up we have Lina Stores, an Italian restaurant which is opening its fifth restaurant this spring, a two storey building on the corner of Wigmore street and Marylebone lane. The ground floor will have an all day restaurant with an open theatre kitchen and the lower ground floor will be a more intimate dining room with an art-deco bar.
Next we have Roji, a Japanese restaurant on South Molton Street in Mayfair which will serve traditional dishes including sushi, pickled and preserved dishes, and charcoal-grilled dishes. Roji is a very intimate and luxury restaurant, with its 10 seating capacity and only 5 dinners and 4 lunches each week, it’s definitely one that screams exclusivity and should be one to add to your list!
Cavita, a Mexican restaurant opening in Marylebone village, will encapsulate cooking methods from all over Mexico. It will have an open fire kitchen at its core with a wooden interior and earthy tones, seating 70 people.This restaurant has a delicious menu including dishes such as pollo al Carbon, chargrilled corn-fed chicken and verde mole. A great lively spot to indulge in with family and friends.
Right by Liverpool Street station, Revolve, a traditional French restaurant is opening soon, with a line up of exclusive chefs and exquisite dishes, this is not one to miss! Some key dishes to look out for include Coq au Vin with Alsace bacon and pearl onions and Lakeland rose Cote de Veau, caper and parsley beurre noisette.
Opening on the 20th of May, Chotto Matte Marylebone marks the opening of their second branch in London.
