New Openings London…
The Big Mamma Group, are opening up another venue, this time in Covent Garden this summer – Ave Mario.
This is the infamous group behind Circolo Popolare and Gloria.
The plan is for it to be inspired by the city of Florence and promises to be their most extravagant venue yet.
The venue takes up two buildings stretching across to Maiden Lane, weighing in at 7,000 sq ft, with space for 300 diners, two terraces, an inner courtyard, a cocktail bar, three floors of restaurant space, and a ’70s-style mirrored basement nightclub with its own pizzeria.
Pergola on the Wharf
The people behind Pergola venues are about to arrive in Canary Wharf.
Set in the old Giant Robot with a botanical garden on a rooftop several stories up, and overlooking a river.
There’ll be a large wrap-around (and heated) terrace with room for 200 while inside will be three bars, various food pop-ups, dance floors and bookable private party spaces.
It will also have several options for private parties with space for up to 150 people, with access to the outdoor terrace and an island bar.
A new multi-experiential space set in one of London’s most dramatic venues; the Grade I listed, One Marylebone. Chameleon offers a Tel Avivian sharing style menu and al fresco dining in God’s Garden and nine bespoke Greenhouses. Other experiences include our very own flower market in the courtyard, curated by Artistically Twisted, fully immersive cinema nights, health & wellness sessions with Xscape Studio, fitness experience, dance classes, a rotating art exhibition and lastly ‘Curious’, a new party experience & multi sensory event.
Al fresco dining in the garden and a soundtrack provided by our resident DJ and live music from our roster of artists.
(Saturday 22nd May)
They’ve built nine outdoor individually designed greenhouses that will be dressed each season. From 4 seated ones to the biggest greenhouse seating 30 guests.
The Soane and Gallery
Located inside the main building, the Soane and Gallery, will still host Weddings & other private events with One Events and in between rotate through various experiences curated by Chameleon.
To start, magical health & wellness sessions in collaboration with Xscape Studio, from sound healing to yoga. The Dance experience, our hip-hop/breakdance teachers & ballroom dance champions will host regular classes in the week. Cosy up on the cinema nights with blankets, wireless headphones and popcorn.
‘Curious’ will be a recurring event throughout the year, a new multi sensory and surrealist event with big headline DJ’s, specialist lighting & sound design, theatrical sets, actors and musicians. Mixing theatre with dance and art.
Come Autumn this year, a 400 capacity private space is being created under the church. The Club will consist of a 120 seated Mediterranean restaurant on the mezzanine floor, all-day dining, private dining rooms and the Jungle room. ‘Friends of the House’ is a program we are introducing to build a familiar community of friends for the club, guests will be chosen and emailed password invitations to join through our website. The Jungle room, which is a private space for clients to book – think Avatar style under the tree of life. In the late night bar, our in-house band will provide live music in the evenings alongside our resident DJ’s.
Prior to the Club opening we are creating a futuristic fitness experience, ‘Odyssey’. Which is a 45min covid-certified Hiit burnout in a spaceship style setting. All classes will be immersive, with an incredible lighting backdrop, DJs and special effects.
