Hello!
Last week I spent 4 fabulous days in the gorgeous city of Barcelona!
I thought I would give my guide if anybody is thinking of visiting this fabulous city! Perfect for a city break as it has Sea and The City- my perfect combo as I hate sunbathing!
Stay:
We stayed at The W which was just phenomenal! The views from your room are insane and there is nothing better then waking up to the view of the beach! The only thing is it’s not in the heart of the city which I think is important so if you can do 1- 2 nights in the W and then move to the Gothic Quarter.

Eat:
Nice little tip I got from one of our friends who lives in Barcelona. Always pick a busy restaurant which is filled with Spanish people- even if you have to wait a bit as you know it will be good!
Boca Grande
This place is a fancy Tapa’s restaurant and definitely a must visit! Head to their bar Boca Chica first for a cocktail. Also you must check out the bathrooms! They are worth the visit!
Rosa Negra
We ate a lot of Tapas so decided that we would head to a Mexican- Cheap and Cheerful and food is great! Located right in the heart of the gothic quarter. There’s a good buzz in here!
Pez Vela
Underneath The W and specialise in Paella- however we decided to get some of the small plates as they looked delicious and in fact they were! Included: Octopus, Clams and Salads, not to forget the Padron Peppers which I ate with every meal!
Terraza Martinez
Recommended by the concierge of Soho House.
They specialise in Paella. It is located at the top of a hill looking over the Barcelona Port. This is very much all Spanish and not much tourists which is really nice!
Pintxos Restaurants
I absolutely love Pinxtos so if you do too ( it’s ot really a big thing in Barcelona) head to Carrer de Blai and there is a street full of them.
We went to one called La Tasqueta de Blai as recommended.
Cecconi’s
Always good to go somewhere you are familiar with. The Decor in here is stunning!
Tapas 24
Affordable tapas with a Michelin Star.
Sensi
Another really good Tapas restaurant which is really affordable
Caelis
Michelin Star restaurant in Ohla Hotel- Head to their rooftop before or after for a drink!

Beauty:
I didn’t use many beauty products on this trip but I did discover Kiko which is unbelievably cheap!
I bought 5 things which came to a total of €22 – There was also a deal buy two products, get another 2 free.
Their BB cream is amazing and I highly recommend it- there is a store in Covent Garden.
Hair
Philip Kingsley Re-moisturizing Shampoo
My hair gets so dry on holidays and this stuff literally does the trick and keeps it soft and shiny!
Moisturizer
Can’t travel without it! I buy the small travel sized ones which last ages! I have literally only bought two in the past 8 months. This gives your face moisture and a sunkissed glow!
I also started using this Elemis Night Recovery Cream which has been a life saver!
