Strand Palace is proud to announce our partnership with Bottle Up. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we are providing every guest with a reusable and sustainable, plant-based, BPA-free water bottle for their stay. Whether exploring the vibrant sights of London or opting for a relaxing stay indoors, we invite our guests to actively participate in our sustainability touchpoints throughout their stay.
Across our nine guest floors, we have strategically installed 17 Culligan water dispensers to make it convenient for guests to refill their bottles throughout their visit. Guests are encouraged to take their refillable bottles home, promoting sustainable practices beyond their time at Strand Palace. This initiative serves as a keepsake, reminding them of their stay in the city and our shared commitment to environmental care.
Our partnership goes beyond just reducing plastic waste. For each water bottle sold, Bottle Up generously donates 100s of litres of safe drinking water through the Clean Water Foundation, Made Blue. Through our collaboration, we’ve contributed to the donation of 6,648,700 litres of water. Our refill stations track the number of bottles refilled, preventing 51,278 single-use plastic bottles from reaching landfills since their installation in Autumn 2023.
