As the end of lockdown is in sight, give yourself some exciting festive plans to look forward too. With the ever-popular igloos back and dotted around London, alongside Christmas spectaculars, something will be sure to tickle your festive fancy. Here is a list of some of our favourite picks this Christmas.


The Macallan Manor House at Rosewood London


For a touch of Christmas class, The Rosewood London has launched an exciting new winter terrace, The Macallan Manor House – in partnership with renowned whisky brand The Macallan. Taking inspiration from the rolling Scottish hills and The Macallan Estate, the terrace entrance is covered with beautiful blue heather and purple thistles, as well as elegant pine trees. Inside, guests will discover a warm and comforting room filled with nods to The Macallan’s distillery and elements of a Scottish manor house. Tartan blankets and the roaring fire will keep guest’s toasty. You will be able to sip on warming whisky cocktails, whilst enjoying a menu of comforting dishes.

The igloos have had a cosy new transformation in collaboration with Piper Heidsieck Champagne. Seating six guests in comfort under heaters, with individual speakers, complete with knockout views of Tower Bridge and The Shard. Making for the perfect dining experience with your social bubble. The menu focuses on unfussy, European food from small plates and snacks to grilled mains, sourdough pizzas and healthy salads.

Wrap up warm, grab your loved ones and head to Jimmy’s Lodge this winter, with the return of the sell-out private dining snow globes.


Indulge in an alpine feast at Jimmy’s. The heated private snow globes seat 4-6 people ready to enjoy a stunning menu with equally stunning views of the river everywhere you look. The Refuge restaurant is a cosy, winter haven. The delicious set menu starts with a whole host of winter favourites, followed by traditional fondue or steak sharer served on a hot stone, followed by a tasty dessert. The traditional alpine fondue includes heaps of mixed charcuterie and sourdough baguette for dunking. A winter feast fit for a king or queen!
