WESTFIELD LONDON’S INAUGURAL CHRISTMAS MARKET
When: 4 December, 2019 – 24 December, 2019
Location: Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City
Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City are getting ready to welcome the festive season, with a whole line up of Christmas activities for the whole family to enjoy, including its first ever Christmas market, the return of its magical Christmas grotto and an array of exclusive offers and Christmas services to make Christmas shopping smooth sailing.
Westfield London will host its inaugural outdoor Christmas Market on Westfield Square where visitors will enjoy an array of seasonally inspired food and drinks and the best shopping offering making it a must-see destination this year, opening 20th November through to 24th December.
The market will be created in partnership with KMC Squared, who have been bringing Christmas events to London and beyond since 2015. British, independent retailers will be celebrated this festive season with stalls hosted by various gift, food and drink brands including Solid Cologne UK, Wax + Wick, Foxdenton Estate, Ask Mummy and Daddy, and The Wonderland Collective who will host an exclusive pop-up celebrating primarily British craftsmanship. The Christmas Market will also host one of the largest Christmas trees in the capital, and a covered bar area featuring music and seasonal drinks, bringing festive cheer to all visitors.
The infamous Santa’s Snowflake Grotto returns this year with a traditional Nordic theme. The northern lights will appear on large screens outside the grotto, bringing the magic of Christmas to life. Inside lies the secret realm of snowflakes where children are taken through an enchanting journey through the grotto’s winter wonderland with Santa’s helpers, where they will also have the chance to make their own unique individual snowflakes. Tickets can be purchased from Monday 9th September and the grotto will be welcoming visitors from 21st November to 24th December at £7.50 per adult / child.
WINTER WONDERLAND’S CHRISTMAS MARKET
When: 21 November, 2019 – 5 January, 2020
Location: Hyde Park, London
Winter Wonderland is mostly known for the attraction of its funfair, but you can also find a market there with many stalls. The stalls are lovely wooden chalets designed in Bavarian style where you can find offers of a selection of jewellery, gifts, accessories, Christmas candies and many others.
So why not go there and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, a typical gingerbread or for adults a delicious cup of mulled wine.
LEICESTER SQUARE
When: 8 November, 2019 – 5 January, 2020
Location: Leicester Square, London
This market is one of the few markets located in the centre of London. We can find many stalls with Christmas candies, drinks, toys and many other goods there. These stalls are decorated with the most beautiful lights which your eyes will be delighted by.
What’s special about this market is there are a lot of shows, as well as being able to visit Santa’s grotto.
EALING CHRISTMAS MARKET
When: 27 November, 2019 – 24 December, 2019
Location: Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre, Ealing Broadway, West London
A Christmas Market inside of shopping centre is located annually at Ealing Broadway.
So why not to make your mood a bit Christmasy while shopping for Christmas presents and enjoy some mulled wine by wooden chalets selling a variety of goods.
SOUTHBANK CENTRE WINTER MARKET
When: 8 November, 2019 – 5 January, 2020
Location: The Queen’s Walk, Lambeth, London
A Christmas market with wooden chalets full of traders from all over the world, offering the best goods from street food and delicious drinks, to homemade gifts.
KINGSTON CHRISTMAS MARKET
When: 14 November, 2019 – 31 December, 2019
Location: Kingston Market Place, Kingston upon Thames, London
Even here at Kingston Christmas market the visitors can taste a variety of hot food or delicious mulled wine at lovely Nordic styled chalets.
As a visitor at this market you will also enjoy a live entertainment stage, a vintage carousel for the smallest ones and a fire pit for tasting marshmallows.
GREENWICH CHRISTMAS MARKET
When: Market for the whole year, just special Christmas decor during the holidays
Location: Greenwich, London
The market is there over the whole year, but during the holiday you can enjoy Christmas mood thanks to transforming the stalls with Christmas lights and decorations.
As well as this market is one of the few markets where kids can visit Santa at his grotto on selected dates, from 20 November – 24 December.
CHRISTMAS MARKET BY THE RIVER
When: 26 November, 2019 – 5 January, 2020
Location: London Bridge City, London
A traditional Christmas market along the river Thames surrounded by the most famous sightseeing in London including the Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
About 60 independent traders will be selling their best goods in wooden cabins and visitors can purchase items from treats to special presents.
NOVIKOV CHRISTMAS MARKET
When: 28 November, 2019 – 30 November, 2019
Location: Mayfair Place, City of Westminster, London
This market is a bit of an exception as it is a market of luxury goods, mostly full of beautiful jewellery, perfumes, lotions, soap etc.
Also at this market Santa Clause will be seen, as well as the whole atmosphere being made by carol singers.
COVENT GARDEN AT CHRISTMAS
When: Shopping place for the whole year, but the lights and decorations will be up from 12 November, 2019
Location: Covent Garden, London
Convent Garden is well known place for all tourists for its market with many stalls with goods from pictures to jewellery as well as some food places.
Plus on Thursday 6th, 13th and 20th there will be late night shopping when the shops will be opened until 9pm and carol singing will help you to get into the Christmas mood.
