Here at St Martin’s House, we welcome you into our home away from home, right at the centre of the community, serving exceptional cocktails and unique, fresh, British cuisine from a menu made entirely of fresh & locally sourced produce.

The ground floor bar welcomes guests who would just like to stop by for a drink, open until midnight on weekdays and with a late night license on Fridays and Saturdays.

Martin himself will play an integral role in the story of our venue. So, who is he?

A 17th Century actor who spent his time between London theatres and throwing the very best parties in Covent Garden. Martin was a close friend of Francis Russell, the fourth Earl of Bedford, who built a house for himself in Covent Garden and commissioned Royal Architect Inigo Jones to build a square there, with houses fit for gentlemen – for many, this marked the true beginning of Covent Garden.

Once a man who spent his days on stage, now Martin likes to put on a show wherever he goes and prides himself on being a saint by day and sinner by night.

Our devoted and efficient staff can accommodate almost any configuration from an intimate private dinner, meeting, networking event, product launch to a roaring party for two hundred and fifty guests.

Spanning 3 floors, our elegant, floral designed restaurant will wow your guests and is the perfect location to host your gathering. Our light and airy mezzanine can hold up to 50 guests and is an ideal location for business lunches and networking events. The lower ground floor is where the party is at, holding up to 150 guests with a fully stocked bar providing a wide range of beverages, beautiful commissioned artwork and tributes to the historic Covent Garden flower market.
