Since Padella opened its doors just off Borough Market in 2016, the pasta restaurant has quickly become one of London’s must-try dining spots, gaining fame for the snaking queues that form outside of it every night (Padella doesn’t except bookings).
Padella’s menu changes regularly and is best known for how affordable it is, with plates of pasta starting from just £4. The offering features a tight selection of antipasti, handmade pasta dishes and puddings. At the Shoreditch site, it’s likely that you can expect dishes such as gnocchi with nutmeg butter, pappardelle with fennel sausage and peppercorn ragu and cacio e pepe, while desserts might see scoops of salted caramel ice cream or a zesty lemon tart.
