Innholders’ Hall is the home of hospitality in the city of London with a reputation for fine food & wine. The Innholders’ are one of about a hundred livery companies in the city. Their origins lie in the mediaeval guilds, which where formed under licence of the crown and the corporation to regulate their crafts, trades or services within the square mile.
The stunning rooms at Innholders’ Hall are the perfect combination for private dining events at their very best. Along with our great menu packages you simply cannot go wrong. We provide an excellent selection of private dining menus along with delicious and sumptuous canapés. We take great pride in our attention to detail along with our high standards of service.
The Old Court Room;
This traditional private dining room boasts stunning views across Cannon Street park. It has a rare selection of members silver spoons dating back to the 1500’s and original glassware. The gold trimmed ornate ceiling dates back to 1670. A beautiful oak panelled room that is popular for smaller breakfast and lunch meeting events and is also often used for gastronomic dinners prepared by our very own Michelin starred chef with matching wines (if required).

The New Court Room;
This dining room is situated on the first floor with its own lavatories and cloakroom and is extremely private. It boasts stunning views across Cannon Street park. Bathed in natural daylight, the room is extremely popular for smaller breakfast and lunch meetings as well as intimate dinners holding up to 22 boardroom or 30 u-shape. It also has its own Wi-Fi. Available for 26 seated.
The Great Hall;
The Hall is richly panelled in oak, the original cladding dating from 1670, with subsequent renovations and restoration – the most recent in 1941, following bomb damage. There is a 17th century minstrels’ gallery, originally sited across the north-east corner, but now repositioned centrally on the east wall.
This versatile private dining room can cater for up to a maximum of 87 guests u-shape. It can also accommodate a large boardroom table for up to 42 guests. The room also boasts a beautiful large stained glass window bathing the space in natural daylight. It is extremely popular for theatre style meetings, buffet lunches and is our largest room. Available for 87 seated and 250 standing.

The Walbrook opened in 2000 in a townhouse built as the family offices of prominent property developers Rudolph Palumbo, who had a hand in designing the building, and his son Lord Peter Palumbo. The interiors are by the late, great Mark Birley of the original Mark’s Club, Harry’s Bar and Annabel’s, and the kitchens were run by the legendary chef Albert Roux of Le Gavroche.
The food at The Walbrook is quite simply delicious. Chef eschews the ‘cloche’ notion of revealing an embarrassed sprig of parsley protecting the modesty of a bare plate. Rather, the cuisine combines British and French recipes to irresistible effect.
There are a variety of dining options over breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. For instance, the Bar Menu offers Walbrook favourites such as the Club Sandwich and the express menu, known as ‘Quick Singles’, is available to Members in a rush. In the Dining, Green and Oak Rooms, the à la carte reflects seasonal recipes made from fresh ingredients, each sourced from trusted suppliers.
For Events;
Guests are invariably bowled over by the approach to the Club, which is of a charming doll’s house dwarfed by distinguished neighbours: it is quintessentially the City of London, where different styles coexist, each the happier for the other’s presence.
The Walbrook is a stylish and discreet place to host a private event. Whatever the occasion, the Club will strive to meet your exact requirements to create an elegant and memorable event.
Chef’s seasonal event menus are tailored to different tastes, occasions and budgets. These are available upon request. There is a Bar, Dining Room and two private rooms available. Each can be reconfigured in accordance with instruction and the various rooms have speakers should the host wish to play music. A room hire fee applies to non-Members.
