At Gusbourne, we produce exclusively vintage wines. We have a clear vision and a single goal: to create English Sparkling Wines that stand up alongside the very finest offerings from across the globe. We believe that the only way to ensure the quality of our grapes, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, is to grow them ourselves.
That’s why we plant predominantly Burgundian clones and why all the grapes used in our winemaking are sourced solely from Gusbourne vineyards. Our winemaking is a slow and measured process and we follow strict, self-imposed parameters to maintain our exacting quality standards. In late 2017 we opened our tasting room, The Nest, and we extend a warm invitation to anyone who wishes to enjoy the picturesque Kent countryside for a tour, tasting and to enjoy our award-winning English sparkling wines.
Come and enjoy a luxurious wine lunch with us, situated in our tasting rooms with extensive views across the estate. Starting with a concise, tutored tasting of two wines, we will introduce you to what we produce from the beautiful landscape around you. We will then take a step back, letting you enjoy a set three-course menu with your guests, uninterrupted. Over lunch, we will serve our award-winning sparkling and still wines, which have been selected and expertly paired with the menu by Master Sommelier Laura Rhys and Head Chef Anthony Coppard.
