Great Northern Hotel offers intimate yet versatile event spaces in the heart of King’s Cross. The elegant and sophisticated interiors only enhance the character of this original Victorian railway hotel built in 1854. They offer three separate spaces that adapt from a formal setting to a private party or dining room.
Their location also offers easy access to London underground, local buses and taxis making it a desirable and uber convenient location to gather colleagues, family or friends.
The Carriage
AN INTIMATE SPACE that combines modern and stylish interiors in the walls of an original Victorian railway hotel.
Located on the 1st floor, the large windows allow natural light to pour in. They overlook the iconic King’s Cross canopy which provides full privacy for your event and a dramatic view.
The space includes a 75” tv discretely hidden behind wooden panelling that facilitates HDMI and wireless connection, along with video conferencing equipment.
Mezzanine
A SEMI-PRIVATE SPACE so called as it is partly open to the double-height ceiling of GNH Bar & Terrace below. This allows for music and buzz to trickle through but in the privacy of your own space. The relaxed feel is suitable for a small drinks party or a work catch-up. A 42” tv screen is also available with an HDMI connection.
Lounge
THE LOUNGE LEADS directly off from The Carriage. The dark blue walls dressed in artwork and soft, plush furnishings provide a grand tone and calming atmosphere. The space lends itself to sprawling cocktail parties or breakout discussions with the area split into Lounge 1 and 2 joined at either end.
