Eldr hosts a seven-course culinary experience every Friday which combines the best local ingredients with Nordic values and cooking techniques. At any point in the week we could also have a guest chef in the kitchen for an exclusive residency.
Eldr means ‘fire’ in Old Norse, and we champion cooking over open flames, smoking and using coal as flavour. Produce is at our core. We locally source only the freshest, seasonal ingredients, meaning our menu is ever changing and evolving depending on what we have fresh that day. There’s a weekly set menu with carefully considered alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks pairings, and all dietary requirements can be accommodated.
We honour tradition and the guiding principles of Nordic cooking including seasonality, sustainability and the use of age-old techniques, but there’s always surprises from our chefs: like everything we do at Pantechnicon, the menu plays with the intersections of ideas and cultures.
