Danesfield House that we see today was completed in 1901 as a family home for Robert William Hudson. The house stands amidst 65 acres of formal gardens with outstanding views over the River Thames and the Chiltern Hills beyond.
Accommodation: No two rooms are the same at Danesfield House. Each one of our 55 beautiful bedrooms and suites has been individually designed to make your stay unique. Choose to stay in a Classic, Superior, Deluxe, Junior room or most impressively in a Duplex Suite.
Dining: Serving seasonal English ingredients turning simple local produce into well executed modern British cookery. The Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner and consists of three areas used at different times of the day and according to the seasons. The ‘All Day Menu’ is available in the Restaurant and Bar and runs from 12-8.30pm and Room Service can be ordered from 12-10pm. The ‘A la Carte Menu’ is only available during dinner service hours. The available dining spaces include the orangery which has the finest views of the River Thames and the Chilterns, the oak room and the terrace. Private dining is also available.

diverse and adaptable with plenty of natural daylight. The beautiful grounds provide the perfect setting for drinks, summer BBQs and outdoor activities. Whether it’s a small meeting for 5, or a residential conference for 50,
the highly experienced Events Team will liaise closely with each client to make sure that every event runs
smoothly. The whole Danesfield House Hotel and Spa, with its 55 luxury bedrooms, including the newly refurbished Stable Courtyard Suites, can also be booked exclusively for a private event.
