La Rampa is a bar and restauarant from Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, inspired by Jake’s childhood growing up in Cuba, and regular trips home to Havana since.
Through Jake and Marco’s collective intrigue and passion for the cultural heritage of Cuba, La Rampa brings to life the decadence and beauty of 1950’s Havana, paying homage to the city’s rich heritage and colourful characters.
Often referred to as the ‘Monte Carlo of the Americas’, pre-revolution, Havana was the go-to spot for high society, with some of the best bars, restaurants and casinos in the world.
Bar La Rampa aims to bring these heady days to life, showcasing Havana’s rich history and giving it the respect it deserves.
