Aragawa

 

 

One of Tokyo’s most famous steakhouses is opening in Mayfair! Aragawa was originally opened in Shinbashi Tamura-cho, Tokyo in 1967, and this is the first time they are opening outside of Japan. Famous for their charcoal-broiled beefsteak, this new opening is going to be an all-time hit! With the finest Tajima beef and seasonal Japanese dishes, this is a spot you definitely would not want to miss out on.

The Aubrey

 

 

Located in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, The Aubrey is a high end Izakaya’ restaurant, offering traditional yet innovative sushi. With the best ingredients, a mixture of traditional Japenese cooking techniques, The Aubrey is going to bring the highest quality dishes that will be unique and exciting to discover.

Mister Nice

 

 

Set on Davies Street, Mayfair, Mister Nice is a up and coming restaurant specialising in French cuisine with a touch of European accents. Even at its earlier stages, this restaurant will expand over two floors, and from the creators behind the Beat Members’ club. Mister Nice will be another addition to the sophisticated fine dining spots in town, so keep an eye out for more details coming soon!

Manzis

 

 

Add Manzis to Soho’s seafood spots, as this new project is going to be the newest addition in serving fresh seafood in town. As the restaurant is currently still undergoing construction due to London’s pandemic recovery, word has it that this Soho seafood emporium if going to be a fun and affordable seafood/pescatarian restaurant, set over two floors in the heart of soho, where guests will be dining in-between two expanding windows of the dining room.

Lisboeta

 

Lisboeta is opening in the Spring of 2022, a Portuguese restaurant by chef Nuno Mendes. Located on Charlotte Street, this restaurant mimics a relaxing Lisbon dining atmosphere, where the menu will serve both small sharing plates that can eaten alongside carefully selected Portuguese wines, and large Portuguese ‘tascas’ plates which is more for family or group gatherings to feast together.

Little Yellow Door Soho

 

The Little Yellow Door has been a hit in Notting Hill and now they are opening another door in Soho. Designed to mirror a ‘house party’ concept, this will be a whole new restaurant and bar scene, that serves delicious food and cocktails by their friendly flatmates. Although we are still waiting for more details to come, we can definitely expect them to deliver their famous house and dinner parties to the heart of Soho.

Din Tai Fun Selfridges

 

Din Tai Fun started off in Covent Garden where queues of people would gather around to taste their infamous Xiao Long Baos. An exquisitely crafted dumpling that is delicately rolled and filled with crab meat and soup. Having made an impression with their culinary craftsmanship, Din Tai Fun is now opening up on the top floor of Selfridges, where you can stop by after your day of shopping and try out their carefully curated basket of dumplings made fresh infront of your eyes.

Goila Butter Chicken at Carousel Fitzrovia 

 

 

Saransh Goila will bring his world-renowned butter chicken to Charlotte Street, launching Goila Butter Chicken as a long-term residency in Carousel’s new incubator space, ‘No. 23’. Described by the Templeton brothers as their “fast casual side hustle”, No. 23 is a ten-seater launch pad for brand new concepts and longer-term collaborations with Carousel’s community of chefs and restaurants from around the world. One of India’s most widely respected chefs, Saransh has developed a cult following for his eponymous butter chicken recipe globally, following the opening of his first Goila Butter Chicken restaurant in Mumbai, 2016.

The concise menu will include a selection of crunchy and moreish snacks; followed by bold flavoured, hearty mains and ice cream sandwiches for dessert. The winning order has to be Goila Butter Chicken with all the accompaniments: fluffy Jeera Rice, silky Dal Makhani, Smoked Butter Naan, Coriander Chutney and Pickled Shallots. When you know, you know…

A wine shop, bar and restaurant, with a particular focus on small, sustainable wine producers; combined with sourcing ingredients from the local Borough Market, and a striking design which includes a view straight down to Southwark Cathedral from the mezzanine floor. February opening.

Ottolenghi Chelsea 

 

 

 

Opening on London’s longest mews, Pavilion Road, Chelsea will be one of the largest delis yet, with a local design twist and newly developed dishes and bakes for Chelsea locals that have never been seen before. The kitchen will serve a concise menu of signature Ottolenghi hot dishes every morning, such as Scrambled eggs with London cured salmon, with an abundant salad counter for lunches and dinner, and stacks of cakes and pastries that tower in the window. January opening.

Grace & Savour at Hampton Manor

Hampton Manor is set to open its third restaurant to the Estate in February 2022, Grace & Savour. This opening will add a dining venue, development kitchen and five adjoining bedrooms to The Manor’s Walled Garden. Guests can check in for a 360 degree 24-hour culinary experience, including workshops and a 15-course taster menu. February opening.

Goddard & Gibbs 

Goddard & Gibbs is set to be the next go-to fish restaurant in Shoreditch. Chef Tom Moore will focus on championing local suppliers with a shared sustainable ethos at affordable prices. The restaurant will also feature The Wine Bar, stocking modern, forward- thinking producers, as well as a takeaway Hatch. February opening.

As an expanding part to the Cubitt House collection, The Princess Royal in Notting Hill is the latest boutique hotel and pub to open in town. Serving the classic pub dishes and carefully curated drinks, The Princess Royal is opening soon for guests to rest, eat and drink in one of the most iconic public houses to come.

One Hundred Shoreditch

 

One Hundred Shoreditch is another hotel to be opening up this February. Located right on Shoreditch High Street, it is going to be home to 258 bedrooms and suites, 6 restaurants and bars, with extra space for 5 meeting rooms and event venues. With modern yet comfortable bedrooms, seafood restaurants to wine bars, there is a lot to look forward to at One Hundred Shoreditch, and even more so, word has it that there is a rooftop bar and terrace where you can get panoramic views across East London.

The 22

 

Located within a Grade II-listed Edwardian manor, The 22 hotel is going to be a sophisticated hotel, opening up in Grosvenor Square, Mayfair. From the 31 bedrooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant and a private members club, the interior design of this hotel has a French ambience that’s filled with textured fabrics, embroidered silks, and bespoke wallpapers. Chef Alan Christie is also going to be creating modern-British dishes with influences of southern Europe in their main restaurant. Even just for a drink in their four available bars, The 22 is going to be an exciting new addition.

Hotel La Tour

 

This multimillion-pound development combines sophistication with timeless elegance, creating a unique environment for guests to stay, dine work and play. The hotel offers a ‘Fourteen Sky Bar and Restaurant’ which is located on the top floor of the hotel, boasting exclusive views over Buckinghamshire. Hotel La Tour said to be Milton Keynes’ newest hot spot, it will definitely be a worthwhile spot to hit up even for drinks, afternoon tea and more.

Opening in the winter of 2022, The Hoxton is opening its fourth establishment in Shepherd’s Bush. Where it will be home to 237 rooms and suites, a central bar and a laidback vintage styled open lobby and a retro pastel restaurant, courtyard, and terrace. With an eclectic design in mind, the hotel incorporates local art and design collaborations throughout the hotel, where creative communities and individuals can meet and get together.

Art’Otel London Battersea Power Station

 

 

Art’Otel is a collection of contemporary hotels located throughout the primary cities in Europe. This will be a hotel like no other, as they redefine the hotel experience by allowing guests to live within the creative processes, surrounded by art at every corner. This luxury hotel is set around the Grade II-listed Battersea Power station, but offering incredible modern amenities, with show-stopping skyline floors, boasting panoramic views that leads up to the stunning roof top garden. Word has it also that it will come with an infinity pool, but more details of that to come later.
