Come May 29th, Finsbury Square is set to transform into the ultimate bowling green when The Bowls Club rolls in for the third year running. Bringing that quintessentially British game into the 21st century, this corporate socialising event creates a unique experience in the heart of London. With fast, competitive lawn bowls, unreal street food and fully stocked bars, this pop-up day festival brings colleagues, friends and acquaintances together. With just 16 exclusive dates from May through to September, we pitch up and host the biggest outdoor drinking space in the City of London.
The beauty of lawn bowls comes trom its versatility. The aim of the game is simple – roll your bowl as close to the Jack as possible. With rinks for up to 10 players, a fully dedicated Games host throughout and the chance to claim your place in The Great British Bowl Off every hour, this event offers something for everyone. Once the bowls champion has been crowned, it’s time to dive into some of the most delicious premium street food vendors in the city. We are also proud to announce that The Bowls Club have partnered with Great Ormand Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) to support seriously ill children and their families at Great Ormand Street Hospital (GOSH). As one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals, GOSH has transformed the lives of so many families. It also holds a special place in our hearts, having played a significant role in the lives of both our Founders, Chris Scriven and Will Goy. With multiple fundraising initiatives on the day and team volunteering, we are excited to play a role in the remarkable work that this charity carries out every single day.
