Located in East London, on Pedley Street, this immersive dining experience takes you back to 1937 on a train ride from London to France. Throughout your 4-course meal, you will be encapsulated into a world of drama, murder, and deceit.
The story follows the Von Cleethorpes family jewel being stolen from the first-class carriage. As we enjoyed our welcome drinks, the story began with interacting and meeting with all the characters of the story.
They served a tomato palate cleanser to commence, followed by a starter of grilled leeks with black garlic ketchup. To follow we had slow-cooked been shin with broccoli variations and potato terrine and finished off with chocolate crémeux. All food was created by MasterChef: The Professionals winner Louisa Ellis, so the food will not disappoint!
The actors kept us engaged throughout, and joined us into the story, by knowing our names which was a nice touch you would not experience in a big theatre production. If you get the chance, you should definitely try it out for yourself!
