What:
Where:
Opened in 2012, Hotel Indigo Edinburgh is located in the heart of Edinburgh just moments from both Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle. Set within a category A listed building dating back to the 18th century, the boutique hotel, which was originally five residential properties, still retains some of the original features including a decorative stairwell and unique cupola.
Our Room
Our room for the evening was absolutely gorgeous and spacious!
It was one of their ‘Junior Suites’ which is great if you are sharing with another person.
What is lovely is that there is a little mini living room which is great for putting your suitcases and bags out of the way and I love that it was separate to the actual bedroom side of things which meant it felt nice and spacious.
The bathrooms are also extremely high speck with gorgeous rainfall showers !
If you are travelling alone or booking for one person, the ‘Double Bedrooms’ are just as nice but just not as big!
Each floor has a colour theme but each room is always bright, airy and funky!
Our Thoughts:
This hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Edinburgh which is ideal as you can walk everywhere and not feel the need to get a taxi.
We absolutely love the decor and the hotel is perfect for The Corporate Traveller who likes to stay in boutique style hotels.
