Opening it’s doors in 2016, it has quickly become a go to place in Fitzrovia. Pisqu provides Peruvian cuisine at it’s finest, with Peruvian food being a fusion of Japanese, Chinese and European culture, you get an appropriate mix of flavors and foods you would expect from such a blend of cultures.


Situated in Fitzrovia, one of the most trendy places to eat in London at the moment, easily accessible from Tottenham court road.

The Vibes?

Simply decorated and cosy, with a long wooden bars and plain wooden tables, which seems to be intentional, as not to distract from the vibrant food and drinks on offer.

What we ate & drank 

To start we had the Ceviche Classico, which is sea bass, sweet potato, coriander, lime tiger’s milk and Inca corn and then also had Pulpo which is grilled octopus, Inca corn grain cake and achiote oil. The Ceviche was marinated perfectly in the tigers milk and still was beautifully fresh and the Pulpo was deliciously crisp and the corn grain cake is a must.

For the main course we had Sea bass a la plancha, which is, grilled sea bass, tree tomato, Amazon purple potato and achiote oil and followed by Lomo a la parrilla, beef fillet with pachamanca sauce and corn grain cake. The Sea Bass was crispy and deliciously flaky and the beef fillet was amazingly tender and was complimented by the pachamanca sauce.

For Drinks we had a Pisqu sour, which is made using pisco, a brandy made in peru, which was very balanced for a sour and not too much citrus, a great light drink to enjoy your meal with, a must have if you visit Pisqu!

Our Thoughts?

Pisqu is a great place to experience Peruvian cuisine in a relaxed environment, with beautifully presented food and drinks and a great venue and location.
