Review: Orasay Restaurant

Orasay is a bright and contemporary neighbourhood restaurant based in Notting Hill, serving fresh fish and seafood deriving from the Western Isles prepared by the famous Chef-patron Jackson Boxer- who’s best known for St Leonards.

What did we eat?

For a fresh light lunch we went for the Orasay Sourdough, whey Butter to start followed by smaller plates to share:

XL Isle of Mull Diver Scallop, Shiitake Mushroom, Vin Jaune – This beautifully presented plate was almost too pretty to eat however was one of our favourites!
Radishes, Tonnato, Capers- This plate was so crispy and fresh whist being paired with a Tonnato sauce really complimented the flavour.
Fried Shrimp, Celery Salt, Avocado- This plate was also one of our favourites as you can eat these whole!
Buffalo Curd, Grilled Tropea Onion & Hazelnut
Mamole Artichoke, Trombetta Courgette, Sheep’s Cheese

Our thoughts?

The bright and airy feel to this restaurant will be a great spot for lunch in the upcoming summer months, the staff were also super friendly and helpful, being on hand if you need any recommendations on what to order!
