What we ate:
Chef’s Selection: Selezione di salumi e formaggi dello chef – Chef selection of cold meats and cheese
Pappardelle Al Ragout Di Cinghiale Marinato Alle Spezie Mediterranee – Pappardelle with wild boar ragout marinated in Mediterranean spices
Orecchiette Di Barbabietola Con Cime Di Rapa E Crumble Di Pane Aromatizzato Alle Spezie – Pink beetroot orecchiette (pasta typical of Apulia, the name comes from their shape, which resembles a small ear), served with broccoli rabe, and aromatic bread crumbles (Vegan)
Agnolotti Di Cervo Con Crema Di Zucca E Misticanza Di Funghi – Venison agnolotti served with pumpkin velouté, sautéed wild mushrooms
Anatra Servita Con Coulis Di Frutti Di Bosco, Kale Croccante E Mousse Di Sedano Rapa – Pan fried duck, wild berries reduction, crunchy kale and celeriac mousse
The flavours and originality of each dish introduced an excitement with each course. Two of the personal favourites from this restaurant would be the Venison agnolotti served with pumpkin velouté, sautéed wild mushrooms and Pappardelle with wild boar ragout marinated in Mediterranean spices. The agnolotti oozed flavour, stuffed with Venison and paired with wild mushrooms, this is the perfect dish to enjoy on a cold winters evening. The Pappardelle was rich and hearty in flavour and compares to a classic ragu. Enoteca Rosso makes group dining stress free with vegan and vegetarian dishes made available as well as Private Dining Room for groups of up to 12 or various spaces available for hire! The restaurant can offer 3-course set menus to bespoke buffet or finger food full of Italian seasonal flavour as well as an incredible wine selection.
