They offer a 7-course tasting menu, at an extremely affordable £43pp or only £30pp for the vegetarian option. This tasting menu includes the notable Hamachi Tiradito, Yellowtail Kingfish with Yuzu Truffle Soy, Aji amarillo & Chives. Despite my usual reservations about fish, the yuzu truffle soy was a revelation, an exquisite symphony of umami flavors. For meat lovers, a later course features delicious lamb chops that melt in your mouth and are bursting with flavour.
You could choose to add a wine pairing for only £20pp which would perfectly balance the palate, however, you also have a range of delicious cocktails to choose from.
Christmas
‘Tis the season for indulgence, and Bamboo Mat is making it truly special with their festive offerings. The Christmas menu, priced at £60 per person (with a vegetarian alternative at £35 per person), is a gastronomic journey that blends the best of Peruvian and Japanese flavours.
The Christmas special avechido maki will steal the show. Imagine delectable rolls of nobashi shrimp, avocado, and blue fin tuna artfully arranged in the shape of a Christmas tree – a feast for the eyes and the taste buds.
