Meet the Nominees for Best Event Planner of the year!
Felipe Fernandes, Senior Commercial Events & Marketing Manager at Food and Drink Federation
It is a great honour to be nominated for the Miss Jones Choice Award. In a very crowded market of PA clubs, venue finding agencies and corporate networking parties, Miss Jones continues to be the best there is. I have a great working relationship with Lisa and Amy and I am always very happy to help them in any capacity (whether it is practical advice, giving honest opinions or just sounding out ideas) and using their simple and effective venue finding service. I always look forward to the MJ events, as the venues we are fortunate to visit are fantastic and selected from a carefully curated list). Networking at any of the Miss Jones events is consistently great fun and inspirational and I always leave having made new friends and contacts. It is a pleasure to say that I am a Miss Jones ‘Elite’ member and I look forward to collaborating more with Lisa and Amy in 2020.

Liza Rees is a part-time firefighter, magician and mind reader. In other words, she is an Executive Assistant with over 7 years’ experience in keeping executives and directors organized, prioritised and less stressed. She practices a calm and intuitive approach to assistance, which rests on empathy, efficiency, and astute problem solving. Her steely determination has seen her rise through the ranks and is often required when it comes to making the impossible, possible. Since joining Big Bus Tours she has streamlined the event planning process through her extensive knowledge of venues and suppliers and the events continue to get bigger and better. She prides herself on her events not only being enjoyed on the day but also being talked about long after as a standard setter for future events. In summary, Liza loves her job, her cat, and a cheeky G&T – but not necessarily in that order!
