Since London is finally getting back on track to its natural ways and routines, it’s time to investigate all the new restaurants, bars and entertainment spaces that has opened up during its absence.

 

This list of November favourites are the newest additions to the city, ranging from contemporary Indian fine dining to the world’s first DC-inspired gastronomic restaurant in London.

Bibi Mayfair 

This contemporary Indian restaurant in the heart of Mayfair, embraces the full multicultural span of Indian cuisine with a constantly evolving menu that recognises traditional Indian flavours. 

 

The à la carte menu comprises of five sections of bar snacks, chaat, sigree, sides and desserts, all made from the best produce from the UK and India. With dishes ranging from raw Loch Duart Salmon with an Odia mustard oil emulsion, to raw belted Galloway Beef Pepper fry alongside fermented Tellicherry peppercorns, to the Chatpata Melilot Farm sweet potatoes.

MiMi Mei Fair 

This unique Chinese culinary restaurant is a must try! Situated within a Georgian townhouse, the three-story restaurant comprises of 6 rooms, where “old fashioned oriental glamour meets modern day eclecticism”, with a Jade Rabbit inspired underground bar that serves unique cocktails that engulfs your senses. 

From Dim Sum to à la carte, the Executive Chef, Peter Ho, creates an authentic and innovative menu, celebrating on China’s rich food heritage and its best culinary secrets. Drawing on inspiration from China’s vast dynasties, the dishes are designed for sharing and feasting. 

 

For appetisers you can start off with the Smoked Shanghai Chilean Sea bass, infused with shoaxing wine, sweet soya and crispy leeks, to the apple wood-fried roasted Peking duck special, with crispy duck skin, carved roasted duck and homemade pancakes. For mains you can experience the caramelised crispy Mandarin Beef added with mandarin zest and sour hawthorn berries.

Park Row 

This is London’s newest restaurant that came straight out of a comic book, as well as being the first DC-inspired gastronomic restaurant found anywhere else in the world. 

 

Park Row is definitely a first-class dining and storytelling experience, with 5 restaurants and bar spaces that draws on inspiration from Gotham’s most famous residents, including The Penguin, Harley Quinn, The Joker, Catwoman and more. 

 

With a modern European menu available throughout the spaces, and a extensive list of house cocktails, the menu features Usda hand-cut steak tartare with confit egg yolk, fried beef tendons and Berkswell cheese, to the Gotham City Harbor platter ideal for sharing, that delivers fresh diver scallops, kings prawns and Lindisfarne oysters.

Clays Bar 

Clays’ Bar is a thrilling, competitive, and fun place that brings interactive clay target shooting from the countryside into the heart of the City. 

 

At Clays you can have a fun night out, where you and your friends can compete in interactive clay target games on their mammoth 4K screens. Sessions Arts Club 

This urban sanctuary sits in a grand Grade II building in Clerkenwell, the perfect place to grab an elegant lunch and dinner. You can feel like you’re in a 1980s private members club, with a lunch, dinner or even a drink on their private terraces, rooftop bar and garden pool. 

 

The menu goes from magical squid-shaped pasta rings to long, crisp churros seasoned with lemon thyme and sea salt.

The Maine Mayfair 

This American-influenced brasserie set in the heart of mayfair is one of London’s newest Seafood additions! Definitely a place that will impress your friends, dates or business clients.

 

The à la carte ranges from; raw bars that offers classic seafood towers, filled with their freshest Alaskan King crabs to salmon tartare and halibut ceviche. To mains of fresh, chargrilled catch of the day dribbled with lemon & olive oil, to 600g of corn fed Canadian Angus rib eye, served with your choice of sides and sauces.

Nusr-Et Steakhouse 

You may have already seen Chef Nusret Gökçe going viral on social media a couple years back, when he was made famous as instagram’s ‘salt bae’ for his theatrical salt sprinkling skills. But here he is, 10 years later having opened up several of his own steakhouses around the world, he is finally opening up his doors to London in the centre of Knightsbridge. 

 

From steak tartar, New York style lamb, Nusr-Et burger, heart shaped meatballs, barbecued Turkish sausage to the Nusr-Et Kobe Steak. Nusr-Et gives a unique and exquisite meat-filled experience that is a must try in London right now!

Pizzeria Mozza

This restaurant was first established in Los Angeles, famous for their unique  bread-making techniques and their amazing sourdough pizzas. But now they are opened in London’s Regent Street, where you can be there firsthand to taste their famed pizzas or their wide selections of Italian inspired meats and fish. 

 

From meatballs al Forno with herb buttered toasted baguettes as antipasti, to mozzarella di Bufala with Cantabrian anchovies and garlic toast, their wide range of traditional Italian pizzas is a must try. You can also accompany your Italian meal with their extensive list of cocktails, like their famous Sicilian Highball or their Mozza Martini.

Trattoria Brutto 

This old-school Italian restaurant is nestled on the side of Smithfield Market, perfect for an Italian lunch or dinner, or even just for a quick afterwork drink.

 

Focusing on authentic Italian classics with Florence inspired dishes, you can start off with deep-fried dough balls with prosciutto and stracchino cheese, to the Florence inspired Florentine Bistecca, a generous T-bone steak that you can accompany with sides. You can then finish off the night with their classic tiramisu for £7.50.

Sucre Soho 

This Latin American and European influenced restaurant is in the 310 year old concert hall of London’s Marlborough Street. It invites you to experience their open fire cooking, accompanied by their old and new world inspired wine list. 

 

You can start off with their Chorizos and Veal sweetbreads, leading towards the Iberico Matambre with preserved lemon and baby fem, to their 800g Bone-in ribeye that comes with chimichurri and fries.
