KöD
The popular Danish steakhouse, has opened its first London location in Covent Garden. Specialising in premium cuts of meat and a fine selection of wines, KöD offers a luxurious dining experience. The stylish interior, with its dark wood, leather seating, and ambient lighting, sets the scene for a memorable meal. Indulge in their signature ribeye or explore their extensive wine list.
Marceline
On Monday 5th August, Marceline, a new elegant, convivial brasserie will open its doors. Marceline is a warm, hospitable restaurant, delivering timeless Parisian charm, set amongst modern urban London – floating on Canary Wharf’s Wood Wharf.
Marceline embodies the rich history of the classic brasserie while infusing new customs through a warm, personable approach. The charming restaurant, open from morning until late, will serve as the meeting destination for relaxing breakfasts, long lunches, dinner for business or pleasure, and late night aperitifs.
Alley Cats Pizza, Chelsea
From the group behind Angus Steakhouse, Alley Cats Pizza has opened its second restaurant in the new location of Chelsea. Their menu includes classic and inventive toppings, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The rustic decor, featuring exposed brick walls and vintage posters, adds to the charm of this new pizzeria. Don’t forget to try their craft beers and house-made gelato.
Three Darlings
Three Darlings is a neighbourhood bistro by Jason and Irtha Atherton, mostly serving British and European influenced dishes. Located on Pavilion Road, Chelsea, this pedestrianised area is ideal for alfresco dining. The name ‘Three Darlings’ is attributed to Jason and Irtha’s three daughters, further emulating the family-run element to this business. The opening of this restaurant will be supported by a pop-up in Harrods.
Kricket Canary Wharf
The Kricket chain has expanded to Canary Wharf, bringing its innovative Indian-inspired small plates to this bustling business district. Kricket CW offers a contemporary dining experience with an open kitchen, allowing guests to watch the chefs in action. The menu features a variety of bold and flavourful dishes, from their signature Keralan fried chicken to the moreish bhel puri. With a vibrant atmosphere and a stunning view of the waterfront, Kricket CW is a great addition to the area.
Oriole
The award-winning bar, Oriole, is getting ready to open in Covent Garden on August 28th, after operating as a pop up for the last couple months. chef director Gustavo Giallionardo and bar director Samet Ali have created traditional Latin American dishes mixed with flavours of European cooking, accompanied by a bespoke cocktail range and bar bites.
Mary’s, Soho
August welcomes another new opening from Jason Atherton. Pollen Street Social is set to close at the end of July and reopen as Mary’s on 16 August 2024. Mary’s will be a large pivot away from it’s fine dining predecessor, with a walk-in only 10 seater smash burger bar, a largely grill based main dining restaurant and an atmospheric bar area.
