London’s Best Sunday Roasts

As well as a busy and vibrant restaurant area, they have a private room that is available to book for lunch, dinner or even the full day. Their Sunday roasts were voted #1 of 50 best roasts in London by the Guardian. Camberwell Arms’ roasts are designed as feasting style dishes to be taken by more than one person to encourage the conviviality found around the family Sunday table.

Close to the theatres of the West-End, Hawksmoor has an Express Menu that’s perfect for lunch, pre-theatre and post-theatre dinners. The entrance to the restaurant is on the short stretch of Air Street between Piccadilly and Regent Street. Voted the Best Sunday Lunch in the UK by Observer Food Monthly Awards, Hawksmoor’s goal has always been to serve the best steak in the country.

Blacklock’s atmosphere is fun and true to its Soho heritage, their restaurant is the place to be on a Sunday so be sure to book in advance and secure a table! Whole joints are roasted over open coals and English oak the traditional way. Served with Yorkshire pudding, duck fat-roast potatoes, a selection of seasonal vegetables and an unsparing amount of Blacklock Gravy. You can even go all in and get their 3 meat sharing roast.




The Pig & Butcher

80 Liverpool Rd, London N1 0QD



The Pig and Butcher occupies a handsome pub built in the mid 1800’s when Islington was a village outside London. They use the best farms and suppliers in the country and present a daily changing menu. On Sundays they offer three meat options for their roasts as well as a vegetarian nut roast. They also have two sharing roast options such as the Norfolk chicken crown & truffled brioche stuffing.




Kerridge’s Bar & Grill

Kerridge’s Bar & Grill has a grand dining room but it’s also a fun and engaging space where everyone should feel welcome. Their Sunday menu features gourmet roast creations such as the Roast Leg of Lamb with Malt Vinegar Ketchup, Haggis and Roast Potatoes. With Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge at the face of the restaurant, you can ensure any chosen dish will be a brilliant one.
