The Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin opened its doors adjacent to Dublin Castle in 2007, a newly built deluxe hotel with dramatic contemporary elements. The same team involved in the initial build is once again responsible for the striking modern design of the new conference centre, with a series of exceptional spaces designed by architects Reddy Architecture & Urbanism.

With 1,150 sq. metres of meeting space over two floors, consisting of the main plenary room, four break-out rooms and an impressive exhibition space, the six professionally designed and equipped meeting spaces at Dublin Royal Convention Centre can comfortably accommodate up to 800 delegates in style.

The main Douglas Hyde Suite (named after Ireland’s first president) on ground floor level at Dublin Royal Convention Centre spans almost 750 sq. metres to facilitate 800 delegates theatre style or 540 guests banquet style. The spacious pre-conference space (580 sq. metres) is perfect for serving refreshments, lunches and pre-dinner drinks. Also named after Irish presidents, the Higgins and Robinson Suites are available on the first floor in the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, again each with substantial break out space and elegant modern decor.

Guests and delegates can capitalise on privileged access to the 234 bedrooms in Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin as well as the existing hotel meeting spaces, which, added to the new convention centre capacity, brings the total meeting space across the two properties to almost 2,900 sq. metres.
